The tacos were quite good and their selection of toppings were very good. I enjoyed the sauces. The service was nice and the atmosphere was alright. It is inside a tent

Overall food, NOT “the” best taco. Rib taco on the bone kinda hard to eat (hard to bite, not sure how to eat with all taco condiments except bite, spoon salsa and cilantro into mouth), better get shaved rib taco than bone in).Very laud music to talk to friends or during orderingSalsa bar are goodTaco asada is good

Best street food, consistently good, everything is delicious. Large variety. You have to check it out when you're in Tucson

Went here on a Saturday lunch. There was no wait and we proceeded to order the first round of tacos.First round came, I would say the only ones that were edible was the birria and lingua. The Carne was burnt and dry. The chicken was tasteless. The ribs were so fatty and had little meat on and mostly crunchy.I went back to order some birria because I was still hungry and at that point the order taker was engaged in a conversation with her co-workers. Even though I was visibly standing right there, she pretended I was n't until she finished her conversation fully.Never again.

This place is busy for good reason. We went at 7:30 in a Sunday night and the line was poppin. Meat is fresh. Hubs said the cabeza was the best he's had in tucson. Love the salsa bar. Plenty of seating in the area.

Well, we tried out Tacos Apson and I really didn't see what everyone else saw. Yes, there was a lot of meat and fat mixed in, but nothing had flavor. The asada was bland, the al pastor was....bland and the shaved rib was bland..I mean I guess the flavor comes from the toppings outside that you get...? The only thing that had flavor was the barbacoa. Thankfully I only had one chunk of fat mixed in it. Maybe I just like flavor in my food as well as lean meat. But I will say, yes, they make sure the portions are enough to run over your plate and everything was very hot which is a plus for me. My wife did like the corn tortillas but that was about it. All in all tbh we haven't had good luck with Mexican food since being here in Tucson. We have tried many places based on others recommendations but nope, not very impressed. But that's just me. To each his own. The overall ambiance was good. Someone came out and made sure the eating area was clean. The 3 stars are for the cleanliness.

Visited Tacos Apson and mainly wanted to try their asada rib tacos! We ended up getting an order of Al pastor, carne asada, Lorenza, taco apson, Lengua, and Rasurado (the asada rib taco!) Each taco costed about $4.25-$5.00 but the meat portions are generous! The pile of meat almost covers the whole taco. There wasn't a time where meat didn't spill out when we took a bite. You can choose between corn and flour tortillas as well. The salsa and toppings bar is awesome. They had 3 types of salsa and a lot of available toppings like lime, onions and cilantro, pickled red onions, minced cabbage and pico de gallo. Each taco was pretty solid! We especially enjoyed the rasurado! The meat was crispy and delicious. Unfortunately the lengua we had was really salty and soggy; we couldn't eat more than two bites. The restaurant seating is outdoors with the clear tarp and has a small lot up front. A talented gentleman came to sing while people were eating. Overall I would recommend this restaurant if you're a fan of tacos!
