“We've been going to Zayna's since before they moved to this bigger location. It's our favorite Middle Eastern cuisine place. I highly recommend the vegetarian plate, it's all vegan and we love that-- really nice flavors. Everything on the menu is excellent. It would be nice if they had a patio, but plenty of seating inside and the decor is nice. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Many things are vegan!Kid-friendliness: Good for families.“
“My husband and I visited family in Tucson for a couple of days, and they suggested we eat at Kebab G one night when we were on our own. It was absolutely FANTASTIC! We shared hummus, grape leaves, the best falafel I’ve ever had, french fries (the white garlic sauce was incredible!), and chicken kebab. Not only was everything delicious and authentic, everyone who works there is also wonderful! So friendly and genuine, it’s the kind of place where you immediately feel like part of the family! We wish they would open up another restaurant in Philadelphia so that we could go all the time. Highly recommend!“
“Great food, service, and atmosphere. Very busy and lively. It's well worth the wait if there's a waiting list. The food is excellent and moderately priced.Vegetarian options: Lots of choicesKid-friendliness: Lots of options and choices“
“The food is phenomenal. Authentic, fast to the table, and the staff is wonderful. The dolmathes (grape leave wraps) are to die for. All the meat has just enough moisture to make the taste just pop in your mouth.Plate sizes are more than acceptable. Oh, and the Turkish Tea....5-star.“
“The best Middle Eastern restaurant in Tucson just might be in the Tucson mall! I know, that’s hard to believe, but Kabab KING’s name speaks for itself.Trust me: go, order the #1 Beef Gyro/Shawarma meal, and let your tastebuds cry happy tears.“
“We tried Aspasia for dinner the other night, and we really enjoyed the food! We love Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food; Aspasia is a great addition to the local options! We started with the Samosas, which were filled with ground beef, onions, and pine nuts. YUM. The crust was light and crispy, while the filling was super hearty and seasoned really well. For our entrees, we got the Lamb Kebab plate with rice and the Chicken Kebab plate with fries. I absolutely loved the lamb kebab! The lamb and rice were fragrant and spiced perfectly, and the tahini took it over the top in a good way. I will 100% be ordering this again! The Aspasia bread that comes with the plate is interesting -- it's a pita stuffed with onions and herbs, as well as a tangy sauce of some kind (maybe tomato-based? Honestly not sure) -- but I might have preferred plain pita, because I felt like the flavors of the Aspasia bread overpowered the lamb. The portions are very generous. I took leftovers home, and they reheated really well for lunch the next day! The dining room is on the plain side, which is neither here nor there, and it seemed like there was only one server for the whole dining room, which slowed things up a bit, but Aspasia's food is the real draw. We'll be back, no question!“
