During our travels through Tucson, we stumbled upon a vegan restaurant that piqued our curiosity. However, our journey to culinary bliss was not without its twists and turns, as we encountered some confusion regarding the establishment's hours of operation. Despite this initial hiccup, our culinary adventure commenced with high hopes and hungry bellies. After consulting various sources-including the website and HappyCow-we still found ourselves uncertain about the restaurant's hours. A call to verify only added to the confusion, as we received yet another set of timings. Nevertheless, undeterred by this minor setback, we decided to dive into the menu and ordered two vegan renditions of our all-time favorite sandwiches: the Tuno Melt and the French Dip. Let's start with the star of the show-the Tuno Melt. As avid fans of this classic sandwich, we were eager to see how the vegan version would measure up. To our delight, the Tuno Melt exceeded our expectations. The combination of flavors and textures was expertly crafted, with the "tuna" filling remarkably reminiscent of the real deal. On the other hand, the French Dip failed to impress as much as its counterpart. While it certainly satisfied our cravings for a hearty sandwich, it lacked the depth of flavor and richness we had hoped for. The side of tater tots was perfect Crispy hot with extra flavors Overall, our experience at this vegan establishment was a mixed bag. While the Tuno Melt soared to culinary heights, the French Dip merely treaded water. If you find yourself passing through Tucson and craving a vegan stop, I would recommend giving this restaurant a try, especially for the Tuno Melt. Just be sure to double-check their hours beforehand to avoid any confusion.

A casual spot (with both canned and tap beer) with plenty of plant-based options. Extra bonus is the market, with vegan freezer items you can take home for later.

What a surprise! The food and staff were wonderful. The Reuben was probably the best vegan version I've ever had. Dessert was incredible and worth the caloric splurge.

First visit. Couldn't decide what to try but based on what others said had the French Dip plus tots. Both very good. The Kreamy Dreamy Kale smoothie was also great. My spouse had the Tuno Melt plus Sweet Potato fries. For later we also got the brownie, which although a little over cooked was very good. We live within 10 minutes of this deli so already planning what to have next time :-)

Stopped in here for my vegan fix. Had the burger of the month and tots. I almost died because it was so good! Truthfully, I could not finish all of it - it's a hell of a sandwich. They also have some all natural sodas that were delicious, too. Even had some groceries, so you can bring some great vegan food home. Great staff, cute spot. Check them out next time you're in the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Vegan sauces made in-house.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options, too.

I wish they would bring back freaky fry-day, it was the best item on the entire menu. The rotating Mexican food Friday is alright but I do like to have an item that is there consistently.Vegetarian options: Having many vegan options is a blessing, especially in Tucson. The menu has been changing lately and I'm not a big fan of the specials but the main menu is very decent.Dietary restrictions: You will find all vegan options at this location. Meat eaters get 10% off on Mondays if they tell staff.

If you're in Tucson, you should definitely check this place out! The Reuben and French dip sandwiches were super tasty. The menu is extensive, so there were many more dishes I wished I could have tried. In addition to the restaurant items, there is a small selection of vegan items in their market, although coming from LA, it's a bit limited for what I'm used to. But perhaps an oasis to vegans in Tucson. The seating area is casual, so it's a good spot for lunch.

Everything tastes wonderful and the atmosphere is good. The service is always the problem. No matter when I order and how much time after ordering online I still have to wait when I get there. It always feels like if I place my order online it doesn't matter because when I get there the order is finally sent to the kitchen. It would be a great lunch spot but I have to wait way too long even after ordering online.Vegetarian options: It's all vegan to be specific

Took my vegan girlfriend here on my birthday. She really loved it. I didn't expect to, but so did I. The food here makes any long time meat consumer believe that being vegan is actually possible with the amazing options they have. I had the vegan cheese burger and honestly, it filled me up like a regular burger.. amazing health benefits. Loved the staff, also amazing delicious and healthy drink options.

I have been driving past this place for a while and every time I told myself "next time I'll have more time to stop in."I finally made time on a Thursday and wow I lucked out by making thursday my first time in there. The crunchwrap is absolutely delicious.I'm not vegan, I'm trying to be better as I love animals, but I imagined I would be a little lost in a vegan place. That was not the case at all. The staff were welcoming and friendly too.
