This place lives up to the hype. It's family owned with mostly a scratch kitchen (the cheesecake is not made inhouse). The complimentary bread was light and fluffy with a salted butter on top, so good. The stuffed mushrooms were full of flavor and the Monster Lasagna was delicious and absolutely shareable. Next time I'm trying the homemade desserts because the Napoleon and Tiramisu looked amazing on the table next to us and I can't wait to try them.

We recently spent a week in Tucson and had a chance to try Nate’s.Food was spot on. Fraline had special dish, said ROCKED and Chicken parm sandwich was perfect down to toasting roll, good stuff. Place is small but service was great, we did take out but enjoyed the environment and the staff. We will be spending a month here next winter and Nate’s will be on our list.

Small place with excellent food. They could have a bigger place to make it feel more comfortable inside. One of the best Italian foods I’ve ever had.

Great place with friendly staff. The calamari was lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. House dressing vinaigrette was light and flavorful. Monster Lasagna was enough to feed a family. Would definitely go back when in the area.

I've written 2 reviews, they should be here somewhere. Suffice it to say, out of a 1-5 I give them at least a 10 for quality, quantity, service, taste? etc. Small space lots of turnover, lots of take out. Keeping it on my go to list, taking visitors n friends to.

Typical simple Italian eatery. The food was amazing. The portions were enormous. Share a meal. Even if you share, you will have leftovers.! I maybe ate half my entree. The dessert menu looked awesome, but I was too stuffed to even consider.I had the Ziti which was very good. Spicy sausage and peppers too. Yum.The bread and pasta salad before the meal was sooo good.I want to go back and try a sandwich. Those looked good

Last minute find after a day at Pima Air & Space Museum. Got there at 4 PM on a Wednesday. By 4:30, tables were full. The place is very small with only 7 tables and counter seating. Also, many takeouts while we were there. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out. The food was very good with very large portions. I suggest splitting an order or plan on leftovers. We had the chicken Parmigiano and chicken piccata. Comes with bread and some pasta salad. Desserts looked wonderful, but we were too full! Service was very friendly but a bit hectic in a small place. Don't go here for the atmosphere. It's all about the food!Kid-friendliness: Not a place for kids. Way too small. Carry out and take home.
