While my wife and I were out of state, Pastiche charged my debit account $6,500! I called my bank to report the fraud explaining I was out of town. I was told to contact Pastiche to get the security camera footage. I emailed Pastiches owner and they responded saying they would help and how bad they felt this happened at their restaurant. They then never responded back to me. I emailed them 3 separate times and each time they never responded. I was begging for the security footage so I could simply show the bank to prove my fraud case. We are a small family with a young child. My wife is a Nurse and I am Marine Veteran who is no a paramedic. That was our entire savings. The police cant help because they only investigate fraud that is more than $12,000. I explained the situation in the emails to the owners of Pastiche and they couldnt care less, which was shown by their non-response. We are a local ****** family and we have served our country and serve our community daily. We expected this local company to help us since we are victims of fraud in their restaurant. Thats not the case and this company seems to not want to turn over the security footage, likely because its one of their employees who changed the card. Their lack of care for their community members warrants a complaint. By simply turning over the footage my family can get the money back with their fraud claim, but Pastiche wont do that. Your credit/debit card information is not safe at this restaurant nor are they upstanding and willing to help their fraud customers.

Even though we've been going to Pastiche for decades there is still no chef (apparently) who is able/willing to cook an entree without pepper! There is a long and interesting menu but only 1 item is available without pepper and that is Bourbon Salmon. It's a tasty dish but not available as listed on the menu unless you want pepper. Sides ALL come with pepper unless you are willing to accept mixed veggies. NO dishes and no sauces can be modified which tells me that there is no chef in the kitchen. I understood that there is a relatively new owner but this owner hasn't bothered to hire a chef or train a cook to actually work with guests. Guests must modify their desires rather than the restaurant modify their offerings! Not acceptable and NOT coming back!!!

Went for Thanksgiving. Very disorganized, crowd of people waiting to check in or be seated and the hostess was very much not in control, but really not her fault as this has to have been scheduled like this. Once seated it took forever to get our drinks, and a clearly very new waiter was making the drinks and freely admitted he hadn't ever made some of them before, and these werent very difficult drinks. The food, once it arrives was actually ok, if a bit pricey but decent sized portions. Not sure we will return. And on an unrelated note not affecting the star rating, a message to whoever owns the black Rolls Royce which was parked out front. If you are reading this, what you have done to that car is abomination and a disgrace to the people responsible for creating a vehicle of such grace, style and elegance. Your customization has done away with all of that !

Well as they say "nothing lasts forever " Went to pastiche yesterday for thanksgiving dinner expecting at least similar experience to previous years of dinner there for special occasions, unfortunately things have changed under the new ownership! To start with the there we're approximately 15-20 people at the door checkin when we arrived with the look of either confusion or anger on their faces which I knew was not going to be a good start! Then as we waited to get checked in people were cutting line and getting into spats about who was first. The girl at the front desk was absolutely in total freak out mode trying to keep things from getting out of total control. We were seated after about 15 minutes which made me feel like I just got a golden ticket since some couples said they were leaving rather then wait any longer. To sum things up the food came out cold, the dessert were nothing like the homemade dessert from the previous ownership and it was a feeling of pack them in get them out if I ever saw it!! The manger/owner stood at the bar area doing absolutely nothing but drinking coffee and eating macaroni and cheese the entire time we were there (3:30 -5:00) then he put on a jacket and left the restaurant! Unbelievable as the staff was totally overwhelmed! The waiter said they were expecting 900 guest today which had me wondering if they were breaking the fire safety code rules?? It was ridiculous and one of the worst thanksgiving experiences I've ever had in my life! Greed has moved in and quality, charm, and care has left this establishment in my opinion. Sad!!!

We went yesterday for Thanksgiving dinner. We were seated timely but staff were overworked. Menu was interesting and we ordered the turkey dinner ($34). Turkey was tough/dry, veggies were cold and flavorless, stuffing was like mush. Meal was not up to the quality of the past. Because of this poor dinner, we will not be returning. Very disappointing and poor excuse for a Thanksgiving dinner. Stay away from this place. Paul & Les

prior to yesterday, i would have always given pastiche a 5. we had reservations for thanksgiving. got there to find a huge line, nobody seemed to be moving at all. the woman at the desk was overwhelmed and people kept asking her why they weren't being seated. the lobby was crowded which didn't seem safe in the covid/flu era. we finally got seated way after our reservation time, but the table was bare and no server came over to acknowledge us. we ended up leaving. went home and ate stouffers for thanksgiving. i think the restaurant was totally overbooked and unprepared. not something i would have expected at this place. somebody needs to figure things out better for your next holiday special!

Don't go there on Thanksgiving. Our main course arrived 2 hours after our reservation time.

I wanted it to be wonderful and it wasn't. We went on thanksgiving 2022, we had reservations at 1245; and were seated at 115 or so. There seem to be a lot of tables and the restaurant felt understaffed. We had pretty good service and drinks through the appetizers, but we still hadn't received our entree at 215. When it arrived, it was cold, and I had to send it back. Our waiter was great but the big wait combined with the cold foot didn't work for us.

my aunt and uncle will never eat here again and its very sad because we use to love this place. I went to eat on monday night and my aunts salad was horrible golden beat salad and there was no golden beats the cheese tasted like tofu no flavor and when we talked to the manager she was very disrespectful in a polite way(my aunt ate 30% of the salad and the manager said we are sorry but you ate half so we have to charge her but we will do half price. THAT IS THE WORST RESTAURANT EDICATE IF YOU MESS UP A MEAL AND SO HORRIBLY TO BOOT YOU COMP THE MEAL i AM NOT PAYING OVER $100 FOR BAD FOOD) the staff is friendly but the owner cares more about making money then taking care of his customers purely disgusting

Food was okay, service was awful. The waiter made several errors on our order, forgot to order one thing, etc. It took a long time to get our food. The best part of the place was the guitarist. I would not return here, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Every time I dine here, there's no negative comment on their food. My son got his burger and I ordered the bourbon salmon. For desserts, triple berry crisps and tiramisu. I'm in heaven. Their bathrooms can be updated, though. Overall, great experience! We shall be back as always.

Pastiche is consistently delivering excellent service, food and environmental appeal to diners who are looking for a great local restaurant that specializes in a menu of patron favorites as well as a menu for fine diners seeking an overall fantastic meal. Available to large parties or a quiet quaint table for two. Impressive as well, is a large bar and bistro area where you will find top shelf choices and beers on tap from local favorites. Centrally located and near the U of A, it’s become a staple in Tucson, Arizona.

I brought my mom and son for lunch last week. Upon entering Pastiche, we were greeted very nicely by the host and escorted to a table of our choice. My son and I had the salmon BLT with green apple slaw, and my mom had the Reuben. All of us enjoyed our meal. The place was spotless, and our waiter was friendly. I have not tried dinner here, but I recommend Pastiche for lunch.

I have eaten here twice for lunch and can't wait to return. Fantastic food (the salmon in a bourbon sauce is amazing), fantastic service, and I love the music (e.g., Frank Sinatra). I would like to return on an evening when there is live music. UPDATE: Went back again today, and everything from food, service (thank you, Nichole!), and ambience were again 5+ Star! Delicious salmon cakes and walnut crusted salmon, and the desserts (lemon cream cake and caramel crunch cake) were amazing!

My husband and I tried this restaurant for our anniversary when our original plans were cancelled. We chose Pastiche because they have live jazz.Atmosphere: oddly placed tables (ours was facing the entrance), decor is outdated, lighting is TERRIBLE! Honestly, if they just changed out the bluish/white LED’s it would be a million times better.Food: meh.Service: Our waitress was very nice. Unfortunately she never came back to check on us after we got our food so I never had the opportunity to ask for condiments. I ate my food dry.Jazz: Great! The only reason I gave this place 2 stars.
