This was the second stop on a mini tour of Tucson breweries.We made a particular point of visiting this one because of the high ratings.The first thing we noticed on entering was that it didn't smell very good in there. It didn't smell like a brewery- I'm used to that. This was just...bad.The staff was friendly and attentive but I think the smell affected the way the beer tasted.I tried their alt bier and it was okay-nothing great by any means, but the three IPAs I sampled had no flavor at all. It might have been that the hop aroma was negated by the bad smell in the room.

Great brewery! The atmosphere and staff were great. Quick service. They brew small batches so the beers change often and lots of variety. When we were there there were over 15 beers on tap. Their pale ales and IPAs were super tasty, and their flagship Cereus is phenomenal. They do not have food, so you can bring your own in.
