Shannon the night closer in the weekends is kick bass at pool, Sunday the early am tender is very accommodating and a good conversation, been here at the least a couple of dozen times and can say honestly the regulars r some of the best people that tucson could offer to meet and get to know.

Have passed this place & said it's time to try it. Look at the sign. It's not the belated holiday greeting. It's the outright deception. Would you be inclined to make reservations at a true dive bar? The staff were even indignant when we naively said we wanted to eat. their handful of tables had little "reserved" signs. I've had great ears over the years at dive bars. This does not warrant a return. No need for a saddle at this one trick pony.

Great good and great service... For me it was like going back in time. It hasn't changed much in decades. Make a reservation for the best steak deal in town on Wednesdays. $15 for a real steak dinner.

I’m sure the place itself probably isn’t bad but having a scammer as a waitress? Yikes! Shannon morinelli scammed me out of $50 - so make sure to keep your valuables safe around this moral-less sticky fingered person :-)

So... I'm the Christina that Guadalupe was talking about! I've been working there for 19 years and I'm sorry but she's lying and left out half the story! Let's fill us in shall we!! Every Wed we have steak night, people come together, converse and enjoy each other's company. We turn the dive bar into a little restaurant for 3 hours. So for someone who comes in EVERY Wed, she knows we don't turn the music up loud. She starts telling the bartender "turn it up", well it got louder than expected so I said "that's enough"! She says to me "no it's not!" I said "yes it is lupe, we don't turn the music up loud for steak night". She doesn't let it go! Continues to talk crap about me to the other bartender and doesn't stop! I'm doing my job, running steaks, making drinks then all of a sudden i see her with her phone... but what this lady didn't put in, she started Recording Me!! Saying I'm a horrible bartender and she couldn't hear her music! Mind you, we paid her the $2! So I told the owner what she was doing and he came out to confront the situation! He told her that we don't play the music loud during steak night and she needs to stop! She continued to yell at him and he shhhh her and told her to stop again!! You are a 68 year old woman complaining about music during dinner service... come on! For someone who has been a regular for a long as she has, I have served her and her grandchildren, she has never acted this way! Entitlement has poked its ugly head out in this one!!

I visited last night for the first time! Had a wonderful time with new friends, one of which is a regular with her husband. Sunday, might be the funniest bartender in Tucson. She was a delight! We had our drinks quickly and she kept us entertained. What a great example of what a bartender should be. She seems to be able to create rapport with anyone. I was pleasantly surprised how she knew everyone's go to drinks and kept them going! I've already told friends about this place and am planning to come back!
