This doesn't taste like Indian food. I cook better than this. I will never buy again.

I enjoy the food, but will never order the 2 entree meal again. My meat entree came over rice, but the Paneer Mughlai didn't. What am I supposed to do, drink it like soup? If you're only going to put half the entree over rice, at least sat so in the app so we know we have to buy extra rice. When I asked the staff how I'm supposed to eat this, she shrugged at me like I was stupid to ask

It’s embarrassing that the main restaurant Saffron Indian Bistro should launch this UA campus food court option and serve such tasteless Indian food. It’s really bad and the main restaurant should exact some culinary control and pull this sad outlet out of the dumps. The food was bland — how does one make Indian food bland?? You really have to work hard to do that.

Saffron Bites in the UA Student Union, amazing! We were there for Vail staff day. Me and my friend choose Saffron Bites to eat at. With the building overwhelmed with hungry patrons, the employees at Saffron Bites handed out samples and endlessly helped us through the ordering of our food. They were so patient and helpful. We were so glad we ate there. Thank you! Your customer service is tops! What a great experience and great food.

Portions are small for the price compared to Indian restaurants off-campus and the food isn’t very good, would not recommend.

Very good food. And service to match. They do a wonderful job----you leave full, satisfied and remembering how delicious the food was (and is).

The light, bright decor was welcoming, and the chairs very confortable. We nibbled on papadums. My Bira pale ale from India (as opposed to an IPA) had just enough hops to be a pale ale, yet light enough to pair well with the spicy food. Our starter was disappointing; the chili completely overpowered the paneer and vegetables. However, the mains were excellent -- tender tandoori lamb skewer; cauliflower, peas + potato; eggplant; with a garlic naan and big dish of raita. Fast, friendly service and good value.

Tried the buffet again yesterday. We have tried the buffet once before and ordered from the menu prior to that. The chicken used on the buffet seems of poor quality - for example it is often black and bruised looking inside, almost rotten looking, not to mentioned isn't seasoned properly or at all. The buffet selection is quite limited for the inflated price. When we ordered from the menu, we were more more than disappointed at the small portion and again poor taste. We have no intention to give them a fourth try.

The food was excellent with varied menu selections. The atmosphere was upbeat and pleasant making our visit enjoyable. The portions are generous.

I love that they provide paperdam on the table with meals. I had the saag with shrimp, which was excellent with very large, fresh shrimp. My dining companions enjoyed their meals and the service was good. The portions were huge so I had to take home another meal of it. They provided extra rice to go and a useful cloth bag!
