We arrived there on 3/14/2024 at 6:30 pm, and we were turned away. We were told “We took too many orders earlier, and we’re still backed up”. Yet when I checked the website to see how busy they were it said it wasn’t too busy, and showed a very short bar in the bar-graph. Very frustrating! Not very good for business either.?

I got the meatball panini. There were TWO meatballs on a tough ciabatta. For $11. Outrageous. I basically paid $5/meatball. Does that make sense? If I was at a street fair or some type of event and these are some real good, size-able meatballs, but no, they’re pretty small. Flavor was good but how hard is it to make a good meatball? Doesn’t add any points.

My girlfriend did an online order. Her money got taken. But didn’t give her any confirmation for her order. So she had to call to be told she is still going to have to pay for the order a 2nd time. And she has to check to see if first payment is gonan go thru because if it does she’s going to have to call back to get a refund. What a nightmare don’t order from this place. When I showed up management never even approached to help with the situation. Left in the dust

Just a nice casual spot with fabulous pizza and salad. Truly one of our favorite spots.
Had a nice lunch with friends.. the tomato soup offered daily is bomb!! Pizza was ok, salad was full and fresh! Busy location indoor and outside seating..

We just walked up to eat dinner with a party of 4. They turned us away and told us they cannot take orders due to being busy. There were tables open inside and the entire outside seating was open. I asked again if we were not allowed to eat here and the woman at the register said no, the kitchen is too busy and we are not taking orders. It seems like Sauce has changed within the past couple years as they only prioritize their Door Dash and to go orders. They don't even care about people who actually want to eat at their restaurant. We used to love Sauce and have been going for many years. Very disappointed.

We enjoy Sauce and frequent many locations in Tucson. Same dishes ordered may vary depending on location. Service also varies. Sometimes our order is served wrong and sometimes staff isn't attentive when we order. We love the organic roasted veggie salad and dairy free cheese pizza. All their wines are from CA so not an option due to high levels of glyphosate(weed killer) in conventional CA wines.

We’ve been here in the past and had better food and a better experience. It seems like they are trying to do both takeout and dine in well, and the dine in portion isn’t winning. We ordered salad, bread knots, pizza, and pasta. Were told the pizza and pasta would take 30. We were brought everything out at once (hoped for the salad and bread as an appetizer), the bread knots had a weird fishy taste, and we weren’t checked on again. Salad has tomatoes that weren’t even close to ripe. The quality was very mid. It seems like they are all working hard, maybe it was just an off night.
