My daughter almost was about to pee her pants and i asked the drunken chicken if they would allow her to use the restroom and they sadly denied my daughter. Guest were surprised as this was announced in front of everyone, so that left a bad taste in my mouth, its just a restroom. Carusos kindly allowed my daughter to use theirs and I will always give them my business, food is better anyways. I give the drunken chicken 2 more years til there done with their over price food amd small portions and long wait time. Get over yourselves Drunken Chicken and next time dont trun away potential customers. Maybe it's cause we are......never mind. Lost customer.Update: five years later I see your still up and running. Must be paying people to write kind reviews cause like the honest post the food still lacks flavor and the staff is still rude, from what I gathered! I have been on 4th Ave my whole life and this is the worst restaurant to ever be apart of 4th

Definitely a place to try at least once. Chances are you won't be able to eat it all. The sandwiches (tried Hot Motha Clucka and DC Chicken) have a good sized very moist chicken inside. It's nice when something becomes famous because a celebrity has been there they actually live up to the same standards. The chicken was not just juicy, but very flavorful and breaded to perfection; the type that doesn't get soggy. Every bite was as delicious as the previous one. Tried the fried pickles as well. I'm not a huge fan of fried food, but these were good. Lots of dipping sauces to choose from (careful they charge for each one). Unfortunately, I have to say service is where this place needs improvement. Felt pretty ignored the whole time there. Also had to get up and get our own water. And "here's your beer" at the counter when they weren't even busy (late lunch on a weekday). If this place wasn't so delicious it could have dropped down to a 3 star place. Trust me though, try it.

I've been going to the Drunken Chicken for a couple of years now, never had a bad meal there. I took my son there when he was 8 and he went absolutely bonkers over the DC Bites declaring that these are the best chicken nuggets in the history of Chicken and Nuggets! The clown over at the Golden Arches can keep his so called nuggets. These are the only nuggets worthy of me now! He then made short work of the Mac & Cheese and then started eyeballing my waffle after eating his so I ordered him another one. They have different kinds of real Maple Syrup like Apple Cinnamon and Jalapeño something something I forgot what else was in it but it was delicious. We shared an order of the Cheese Curds which are addictive and you'll find yourself ordering more without realizing it, yea they're that good! The Beast is my favorite chicken strip of all time, wrapped in life giving Bacon, dipped in waffle batter and fried to perfection. If you need a sammich they got ya covered. The Chicky Chicky Parm Parm is Outstanding and I would suggest ordering 2 so you have something for Lunch the next day. They have Burgers too which I hear are delicious but I'm too busy shoveling chicken strips and cheese curds in my face but someday I'll get to it. Don't walk, run like hell to the Drunken Chicken and gorge on the best Chicken & Waffles you'll find in the Old Pueblo.

I've ate here about 6 times now and they only complaint I have is with the fountain drinks they never have any carbonation other than that every meal I've gotten here has been nothing short of amazing the best chicken in Tucson hands down and that's coming from a Black person who knows what good chicken really taste like

The food was awesome, all the sides were delicious. I loved the coleslaw. It was creamy and full of flavor. I had the DC chicken sandwich, my sister had the chicken and waffles, my brother had the chicken strips. We shared deep fried pickles and spicy cheese curds. Each item was fantastic!

Lived up to the Drunken , many day drunks in a small space. Chicken was just ok ,a bit dry and the waffles were nothing special. Bummer. Will not go back.

I was disappointed in the chicken. The waffle was good, but the chicken was definitely burnt to a crisp and when I asked for a couple of new pieces they said no. I couldn't believe it! The cashier was apologetic about it, but they all just rolled their eyes like I was picky or something. It was disappointing. I wasn't even going to review them, bc everyone has a bad night but I overheard the table next to me saying they were the worst chicken nuggets they ever had. It's a small place so don't bring a large crowd.

Customer service was great, but the wings I ordered were bland. I ordered lemon pepper and garlic parmesan. The wings could use a kick of more seasoning. The curly fries tasted good.

Went in today and there’s was no one for multiple minutes while waiting at the counter but the order iPad was flipped around so I figured it was a place your own order, then someone who was eating sitting at the bar with her boyfriend comes to aggressively flip the iPad and take my order with the worst attitude. She was hefty and had a medium brown length brown hair, wouldn’t go on a Saturday afternoon I think that’s her eating time.

A dive on 4th worth every dime. We try something different each time and it's all good. My favorite is the BLACT Out wrap. Just look at the HALF that didn't get eaten yesterday and is now lunch; it's as big as the container and yummy! I recommend the onion rings and Buffalo Mac & cheese. Service is friendly. Fun joint. Fresh food. Enjoy.

The kids chicken nuggets came out extremely dark, almost like they were twice fried. Chicken and waffle was super good, loved the bourbon maple syrup. Staff was kind. Seems like a great place for locals to come have a beer, they had a great selection.

The best place to get chicken & waffles. The place has an inviting atmosphere with a very kind staff. You can stop by for a nice cold beer and chat it up with wise and interesting Tucsonans. The beer selections are also worth mentioning. If you gonna have the chicken, get it spicy.

This was our lunch stop after visiting the Saguaro NP. It’s on 4th street, closer to the University area of town. I was not sure what to expect because my daughter picked this restaurant, but we were not disappointed. I had their B.L.A.C.T out burger and it was busting with flavor. It is a big burger as well and I did not need a side. My husband and oldest daughter had the Waffles and Chicken. My 2nd daughter had their wings. All delicious, and my husband said he would pair the waffles with the wings. Service was quick and staff were friendly.
