Very yummy combinations of toppings for the burgers. Crispy fries. Very friendly staff. Very light pour of wine. A full glass is 6 sips, and warm. It was a nice enough wine though.

This place took over the beloved donut bar and I was sad to see, is no longer doing both. The Thunder Backn Burgers however, looked like a dream online so my husband and I were excited to come try them! I loved the selections, both classic and a little out there. I tend to prefer the "out there" side. I chose the 520 burger, a chorizo burger with green chiles and bacon. When it came, it wasn't bad. The meat was flatter and soft (like a Freddie's burger) and the bun was soft . It appeared like the pictures but also in a more realistic edible size which was not a problem. I did feel like it needed something, some kind of kick.. maybe a less mild chorizo. Until I deconstructed it, I thought they had gave me a hamburger patty instead. My husband got the Big Kahuna... it looked amazing when it came out and he said it was good. We ordered the Thunder tots as well but I was not impressed. Something must have been going on with my taste because there was this reminiscent taste in them... my husband finally said ohhh teriyaki! But that wasn't it to me... it was a potato salad taste (I don't like potato salad). Idk what exactly was in the tots but that's the taste I got from it. The server was nice and helped with ordering, but took a bit long to bring water on a hot day, as well as for a refill (we had to ask both times).. but she was good with the water after those 2 times. I did think it was strange though that she asked if we wanted ice. Never had that question and again it was pretty warm out. You pay at the counter (which we only knew because we saw someone else do it) and the server was talkative and friendly , which was a pleasant end to our time at Thunder Burger. I do want to go back and try another burger, and I would recommend this place to others. I would really give it a 3.5 if I could. Just didn't quite hit a 4 star experience for me.

Impressed at the ambience and lighting was aesthetically pleasing. Customer Service was spot on, I felt like VIP. Menu easy to read (going to try every burger) price not bad for what you get. I highly recommend this Tucson gem

Overall decent burger. The burger was cooked well done, would have liked it with a little more red. The quality of the meat was average. The bun was good and toasted. So no sogginess. Tasted like a slightly better bun version of a big mac. Fries were ok but not pretty bland. Overall decent burger but slightly overpriced.

Our first time at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised. The menu has lots of burger options, including vegetarian. Flavors were good as were the tots. We would recommend this place.

Good quality burgers and very tasty fries (that I couldn't stop eating). Lots of outside the box burger choices. Looks like takeout place from the outside but we had table side service including beer and cocktails. Service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend.

As a fan of weird burgers (still looking for a great PBJ burger) I was real excited to try this place out! Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Right off the rip, the punk rock, skater park aesthetic is unique and got me more excited for what the burgers had to offer. It's a relatively smaller shop but I've never had trouble finding seating and the display case of doughnuts and pastries is intriguing. For those who don't know, on certain burgers you can request the bun be replaced with doughnuts or concha bread, though they've been sold out of the conchas every time I've been unfortunately. A burger on a doughnut is definitely novel, but a little more than I think I can handle, especially if you aren't just cramming this burger down your throat because the doughnut can get a bit soggy if you let it sit for bit. Regardless, the burgers themselves and the unique toppings are top notch! Really nice seasoning and flavors and I seriously love the crisp fries and loaded tater tots. All in all: I think my arteries can only handle a trip here once a month tops, but I always look forward to slowly but surely getting to try each menu item they have to offer.

A quaint little burger place hanging in the balance of mediocracy. Decent food ... nothing to write home about. Very very thin burger patties (enough to make you feel the financial stress that must be lurking behind the scenes) but good fries none theess. Service was limited by silly regulations set forth by the owners - whom appear to be amateur. For example, place was empty but we were forced to sit at a two top small table instead of one of the several available larger tables. The bill was rushed to us as we took out last bites and a pre programmed tip option that seemed to steer us in an uncomfortable fashion. Overall not any better than a fast food restaurant ... and fifty bucks for two burgers, two bottles of water and one order of fries. The food in service does not justify that price point - I don't see this place lasting for very long.

I ordered the Thunder Huevo burger with donuts as the bun. The donuts were so fluffy and delicious, surprisingly they did not get soggy. I was not a fan of the thunder sauce, hence the 4 stars. My partner got the Eclipzo which was good. Tater tots with bacon jam was good, they also had the thunder sauce. Overall a satisfying visit.

Great little burger place. Enjoyed it. The front door is a bit heavy and doesn't always close if cold and windy it blows right in.
