Real Italian food done really well. My 8 year old gave it 5 stars! Don’t pass on the desserts. (My kid couldn’t wait for a picture before eating some of the gelato.)

I was looking for a couple of scoops of green Italian olives, and not finding that I discovered and ate a delicious cheese and mushroom calzone! The tomato sauce was perfect! Good service: order at counter and meal is brought to you in a good-sized seating area. Many other people here enjoying spaghetti, fish fry, piping hot soup and gelato! I have no room for gelato or any of the pastries today. Having just returned from Sicily it was interesting seeing the flag. Will have to keep this place in mind for future lunch stops. Busy place, but seats are available as tables are cleaned quickly for incoming people.

Very nice place to have lunch and buy real Italian foods. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable about the food they serve. Would recommend this place for the pastas, the desserts and the takeout. Will definitely be back.

I really wanted this to be the perfect place. Walking in, there were delicious baked goodies everywhere you look! Some of the prettiest cookies and pastries I've ever seen! They had displays of treats behind the counter in addition to prepackaged goodies. They had marinara sauce, pasta, bread, all sorts of things you'd expect at an Italian bakery. Prices were a bit steep in comparison to other bakeries in town though. $16 a pound for cookies. The staff was present and friendly but seemed to lack "enthusiasm." We ordered 2 sandwiches to go. We grabbed a couple of bags of chips and paid for them along with the sandwiches only to later find out the sandwiches came with chips. So instead of offering a refund, they have us more chips.I had the italian beef sub. The bread was nice and soft... and soggy on the bottom from the juice. I would recommend not ordering this one to go but eat there fresh instead. I would also recommend adding some salt and pepper as the meat had absolutely no flavor. The ham and cheese was good, average. Just one sandwich came with a cookie, not sure why they both didn't. There are plenty of other items to choose from, and for the record, I'm willing to give them another try. They are a local business who've been here for a very long time, so there's got to be something that is to die for. I'll let you know if I discover what that is! Maybe it's the gelato? That looked yummy but was not in the mood for cold today. Or maybe it's one of their pasta dishes. There is plenty to choose from, including pizza! Overall I have to give 3 stars this time. I hope next time I will have a reason to give 5 stars!!Dietary restrictions: They had a couple sugar-free cookie options available.Kid-friendliness: We saw some high chairs, so they do accommodate the little ones!

Everyone was pleasant and friendly, but I had never been there before it was as if I was in one of my Italian stores back in Michigan, I found it by looking for Ricotta cheese and i did get it, but then started asking if they had Mortadella, so I decided to get a # of it, than a sandwich with Mortadella/provolone / lettuce, tomato mayo, mustard. Afterwards I had to call back and let them know that that was the best sandwich I've had with Mortadella an Provolone in a long long (10yrs) time because it's difficult to find good Italian products in AZ. I will be going back again for more Mortadella/Provolone and their bread.i enjoyed ? them

Hands down the very best Italian bread and house made sausage! It is simply the best I've found since leaving New York. The servers and counter help are so friendly and accommodating. Great little bistro to grab a bite!
