Viva Burrito has lost sight of what customer service means. Their menu shows food choices and prices but they charge more than the menu lists as the price. The servings used to be generous, but the last several times we went there or ordered to go, there was much less of everything. On top of that, some of their employees could use coaching on the subject of customer service. We doubt that we’ll go back there. The last experience was very unpleasant.

When you go out to get something to eat its about good food , service and the experience, this place fails on all, you wont find good food here or good service, and the experience will more than likely be bad. I've lived in Mexico and New Mexico and i can tell you the food is poor quality and bland and the service for me was horrible. I can not recommend this place.

Awwwful. Awwwful. Awwwful I normally do not attend this location whoever it was convenient for me today, so I went out on a limb and tried it, do not go here. How old are the favorite tacos with cheese & guacamole, which every other location are fresh and filled with cheese. This location skimped me on the cheese and the guacamole is old. I also specifically requested only red salsa and naturally they served me green. I called the establishment when I got to work and let them know of my concerns and he said if I don't come back now, there's nothing that they can do to make it right. I'm pretty sure we've all been in a situation where if we are at work and cannot return as long as we have a receipt, the company will replace or refund an item if there is a concern. Just avoid this Viva stick to the one on Broadway. They clearly know what they're doing.
We used to love Viva's tacos, but that last few times we've gotten them there was only a teaspoon of meat and only trace of cheese. Not worth $2.52 for sure.

Not quite sure if they were having a bad day or what, but after waiting for almost an hour for the food (it was a fairly large order, but we were the only ones in the drive thru) we finally received an error filled bag of food. So many errors like no salsa, wrong burrito, guacamole when it wasn’t asked for. I ordered a chicken burrito. What I got was a TON of unflavoured, dry, and extremely bland chicken, rolled into a tortilla. No veg, no beans, no rice, just plain chicken and a tortilla. The reason I gave them two stars is because I took the burrito home, removed the chicken, seasoned it, and added some beans and rice to it. From there I was able to make two fairly good sized burritos on my own. So I guess it wasn’t an entirely lost cause.

I was in town for a specialist appt, putzing around to kill some time, got hungry and found this place back in May of 2023. Got the sense that they had recently opened or gone through a rebranding. Had the two carne asada burrito combo plate. Meat was tender, cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely. Pico and guacamole were fresh and on point. Side of beans and rice were par for a Mexican dish. All at a great value. I'm not from Tucson so I can't say if every restaurant makes carne this good, but I was very impressed.

I love Viva Burrito, I used to always eat the one on Broadway, this one is great too. It's one of those local treasures we have in Tucson.
