friendly local neighborhood spot for bar food - good specials. Sad that the interior is very dated and not maintained very well. Service also isn't the best. Great views of golf course and mountains.

We had a great breakfast experience here today, and we're giving 5 stars because of the bus boy who was working at 11am this morning. He went above and beyond wiping down the high chair for our daughter right away, brought her crayons and paper, smiled at her and was very kind to her. Anyone who has a child and has gone to a restaurant knows how difficult it can be to keep them entertained, and he helped with that. Very impressed with his work ethic and attitude! Not to take away from the food or server, those were both great as well! Will definitely return.

We come here about 3 times a month, we do both dine in and call in orders and never had any issues. Tonight we went in at 7:30 pm, the hostess didn't even try making eye contact with us and kept on cleaning, when she finally acknowledged us, she told us that the kitchen was closed, I understand if they chose at 8 but have a sign to say last call at 7:20 or 7:30 or at least acknowledge us and don't have us standing there for 8 minutes while you keep cleaning tables after you made eye contact. Do better.

Gold course is challenging but well maintained and enjoyable

The dining room was well acquainted with 25 ft drapes along the wall of windows, outlining the restaurant, in front of the greens, on the golf course. What a beautiful picturesque place to eat. The minute we walked in, we we greeted by a friendly.host. we had questions and our server made suggestions upon our request. This was our first time dining there. Our server was friendly, and patient with us. We ordered sandwiches for lunch. My French dip had a giant bowl of Au jus and it was the perfect size to share. I had a side of tater tots that were in shapes like stairs, and other interesting shapes. They were crispy and cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed them. We had crispy pickles that were good, just a little over salted. All in all, the food was great, the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, the service was friendly and helpful. The perfect meal with a lovely esthetic! We'll be back to enjoy another great meal.

The good: The view is great and so far everyone that chose to speak to us or vice versa is very nice. The grounds are decently maintained. The entrance is beautiful. Parking is easy. The bad: It's very sad to see this restaurant and country club after having been to the other country clubs around town, even as a guest. There are little to no gluten free options on the menu, the service is subpar, meaning I had to remind the waitress several times what we wanted/needed including my order, my allergies to gluten, honey for the tea etc.The ugly: I had to send my plate back twice because there were 4 big pieces of bread on my plate after telling them no bread, no wheat due to allergies. First time they just took the bread off the plate, moved it to another and then reserved me the same thing with the bread crumbs still on top. The cook has a son with celiac and he STILL did this! So I had to have it remade. The waitress hollered at the chef before she even got into the kitchen "they want it remade hun". We heard the chef and the waitress arguing over it from inside the restaurant. The restaurant itself is dirty. The floor needs vacuuming, the tables are sticky, furniture is very worn out, falling apart, warped and wobbly. The seats are awfully uncomfortable. We were considering buying membership here... not anymore! It's very much like being at Denny's but with a golf course. The food is Denny's quality and just like Denny's... we won't be coming back to eat here either. The conclusion: This area has such an exclusive clientele which is an excellent opportunity for this country club. I'm talking real people with the financial means to back up this club becoming private. But most of my friends, like me, won't pay for a membership to a Denny's with a golf course. Plus half of my friends here also have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome which comes along with gluten allergy or intolerance. They can't come here either. It's just so sad. I expected more and received so much less. Also there's no place to put photos on this review.Dietary restrictions: Little to no gluten free options. No gluten free kitchen.

Food is great service is good best service is at the bar. It's a little pricey however well worth stopping in for lunch or dinner or anytime.

The location is great if you live in Vail and it's very convenient! And since they have TVs by the bar, it's a good place to go and just hang out and watch a game, etc. Views at sunset are great! Menu is somewhat typical and I'd love if they added tacos and some vegetarian options as those options are very limited. The specials are usually very good. Prices are a little high in my opinion, but the food is good. Drinks are good as well. Service is always friendly.

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Hostess was very nice and sat us right away. Samantha our server quickly took our order and was also very nice. Food came out in a timely manner. Wife had the prime rib and I had the steak. Both had good flavor. Samantha checked on us frequently. Will we go back?? Yes we will it was a nice restaurant with a nice view.

I ordered a caesar salad was good up until I found a piece of sharp plastic in my food. I showed the waitress and she apologized and quickly replaced my salad for another Caesar salad I enjoyed my salad and dessert. The next day I felt sick to my stomach. Don't order the salad at this restaurant can't trust the lettuce served.
