This by far is one of the best family owned restaurants in town with authentic Mexican food cuisine from deep in the heart of Mexico. Everything tastes fresh and is cooked with love. You can tell and every bite.

I know everyone's tastes is different but if you're looking for really good authentic Mexican, this is the place. I've been here with family and friends over the years several times and each time has been terrific. Great service and don't forget that happy hour $2:50 draft mexican beer and margaritas. What's even better is that you're not going to a political rally like another Mexican restaurant in town (not to be named).

El Ranchero is authentic Mexican food, a bit different than Southwest or Tex-Mex Mexican restaurants that are usually found in the area. Anita's Cocina in town has decent Tex-Mex but beware of all of the right-wing propaganda that will inundate you as soon as you walk in the door there. Here at El Ranchero there is none of that. The servers are actually Mexican people and the food is great. Given a choice between the two restaurants, I'm coming here to El Ranchero.

Nice Mexican restaurant. At the time it was a short wait to be seated but the food took some time which is understandable with how good it is. I got the chimichanga and it was delicious. Our kids and my husband enjoyed their meals as well.Parking: It was a little difficult. They have parking in front and also around back. ;)

We had an excellent meal there tonight Portions were large. Flavors were great. Service was fast. A nice "mom and pop" restaurant.

Visiting Wickenburg and ate hear. We are very fussy about Mexican food. This place was very good. No one was disappointed.

Food was barely okay. Rolled tacos and the green sauce of enchiladas were tasteless. The worst part is that we are travelers, and the waiter refused to give us the wifi password. Saying "it was only for the business"

The Carne Asada looks like a flat piece of processed meat and you get one tortilla. The fish tacos are some kind of breaded frozen fish stuff. The side salad is more like taco condiments with only two dressing options. The margaritas are way too sweet. The Chile Relleno and the hole (pot) beans were ok. Two visits, no mas!
