Don't let the surroundings fool you. This is a high-quality coffee shop with great service and a wonderful barista! Prices are very reasonable!!! We stop there on every trip we take to Wickenburg

As much as I want to like our small local coffee shop in town, I can't, and it's because of the customer service from the owner. When I first started going there was a nice younger girl there all the time who was great. Ever since she left, the owner is the one I've had interactions with. Yesterday took the cake for me. I had been given a gift card from a student at the school I work at and I decided to use it. After giving me my items she takes the card and looks at it for a while. She says "I will let you use it BUT it has expired" I kinda laughed and responded with "no it's the beginning of 2024, the new year just started" And she got defensive and said "no it expired in may of last year" I respond " No ma'am it's just barely 2024" and she, with still no apology says "Well I was gonna let you use it anyway" I 100% understand a simple mistake, we are all human, but it's okay to admit you were wrong, laugh about it and go about your day. It's still to get defensive over something so small. I am only annoyed because of the lack of apology and the way it was handled. It's great you were "gonna let" me use it anyway but it wasn't expired in the first place. Instance 2: with the owner A couple months ago I went through the drive through, as I got to the window I realized I was too far from the window, so being the only person in the drive through/dirt lot, I tell her "hey I'm just gonna back up real fast so I'm closer to you" As I back up I see her huff and roll her eyes at me So I left Instance 3: with owner This wasn't my experience but a friend of mines My friend went one day and was going to use her two punch cards, they both would've added up to a free drink if combined so my friend asked to have them combined since they're all still valid purchases. The owner denied and said she wouldn't combine the two. What's the difference if she had? How would've it effected her business? I understand one off situations of maybe having a bad day, but consistently having bad experiences every time I've gone is disappointing, especially since it is coming from the owner. I would 100% rather spend my money at a small business than Starbucks but at least the ladies at the new Starbucks smile and laugh with you instead of arguing and rolling their eyes.

The lady with black hair wasn't too friendly and seemed annoyed we came in close-ish to closing time. It was just 3 drinks and you made money. You're welcome. She should have asked if we wanted the strawberry frappe to have a coffee flavoring in it because we did not-as it was for a child. And also, who literally drinks strawberry coffee? Still tipped her and drove off with the frappe that went in the trash. Luckily the new Starbucks was right down the street. Do better and try to be polite to your paying customers.

Love their coffee; their scones are the best. The people are very friendly and accommodating.Great service.Seriously, you could eat off the floor, the business is so clean. (Most Wickenburg businesses could take a lesson here!)

Great coffeeeverage stand. We first found Prickly Perk when we were staying next door at the Stagecoach while waiting for our house sale to close. Really good coffee from friendly people. You can tell it's a favorite by the line they get at the drive-thru. Don't let that deter you though, they work it quickly and efficiently.

Good spot to get local mom and pop type coffee shop while in town. I couldn't easily tell where the parking spots are , as this coffee shop is in front of people's home, so I used the drive through instead of going inside to check out the interior. The cold latte I got was good. Places closed at noon on Sunday. Next time, I'll stop by again.

I'm afraid I can't recommend the Prickly Perk for an espresso drink, much as I'd hoped to. Went out of my way to find the business, after reading its good reviews. Ordered a double short latte and got what tasted like a tall warm milk with maybe one shot of espresso. Poured it out in the gravel and continued on my way. Sigh.

Best cup of coffee I've had in three years since leaving Australia! I am now a dedicated regular at Prickly Perk! Latte with honey! Perfection.

If you need warmth with coffee and the sun is out the entrance area is all glass and gets quite warm. The coffee machines look fancy with a shine. Real smooth coffee here. Not a hustle bustle place expect to wait, at times. Usually one person working. There are some pastries and snack eats. Dusty gravel/dirt parking lot. Don't let the lot discourage your visit.Parking: Not paved.
