We went for a coffee and pastry. The coffee was made fresh for us and the pastry was also fresh and very good. Even though they were short staffed, the baker came and gave us a turtle concha to try fresh from the oven. It was AMAZING!!

First time there and last time there. Upon first walking in we were not greeted. The lady was on the phone so I just figured she will greet us when she is finished. Never did. We asked her a few questions and she just responded to us like we were stupid. Tried to make small talk with her and she seemed off put by our presence. Did not feel welcome there at all. None the less we decided to give the place a chance. BIG MISTAKE. Waste of time, and money. Everything we got was horrible. The Concha and cake tasted burnt, the cookies and pan were so dry you can’t even eat them. My partner spit her cookie out because she could not even swallow it. I spent $16 on a bag of unedible food. I gave my dog some cookie and he could barley eat it because of how dry it was. I highly doubt the items being sold are fresh. They taste old and horrible. I got a variety of things and none of them were good. Normally at least one thing will be good. Very disappointed and will never be back. Bad experience all together.

Cute little mom and pop bakery focused on Mexican pastries. Also sell bread, tacos, and tamales. Fair prices. Nice owner. Lovely murals inside and out.

We special ordered a Tres Leche cake with caramel and it was perfection! The nicest couple were so helpful and accommodating. Wonderful experience and we would highly recommend.

I wanted to give this place an opportunity and it disappoint me, first when they open they don't have bread so I waited, the cashier or owner idk was like angry or something bc when I was curious making some questions about the bread of the dead she didn't spoke to me, second the place is disgusting, old and dirty I didn't like anything inside and third the bread was not good it has a different flavor but not a nice one just weird and they overcharged you if you use card so never again

I moved to Yuma 22 yrs ago. In the process, movers needed food and Elvira's was recommended. I got wonderful tamales from them. Great food and wonderful service by a family crew. The small boys then are great young men who still help mom and dad. Sunday tamales from Elvira's is a tradition we honor and enjoy. It is also a great bakery of traditional Mexican pastries and breads. The tamales taste wonderful today as they were in 2002 and the owners still make the food. Not to be missed!

Do not recommend this place at all!! I walked in and there was a heavy guy on the other side of the counter. I asked the guy 2 different questions and he replied to me "how many times are you going two asked the same question in different ways?". Like really? It was two different questions! Such a rude person. Anyways terrible customer service and the bread was hard! It was my first time there and it'll be my last for sure.
