Absolutely perfect! I wanna call this a dive bar but it’s so much more! Pop’s, the fella running the place is my first interaction, he’s professional, straight and kind. The rest of the places lives up to that. Great service. Amazing selection. Pub pizzas. Everything you need wrapped up in a kind package. A great find for me!

i drove by on my way to San Diego stayed at a hotel and wanted to have a drink. googled and found Friendly Tavern down the street so I decided to try them out. first of all it felt like a nice home style place not your average bar. I felt comfortable there and really enjoyed their drinks! the bar tender was super nice and the bouncer was very friendly and talkative. the bouncer made me feel at home as he would walk around and ask if we were ok or needed anything. he greeted us with a big smile and seemed to be very helpful there. I definitely will return to this place next time I swing by. thanks Ken who made my drinks which were amazing and thanks to Ramon the bouncer who greeted is with such friendly attitude and respect. yes I know their names as they introduced themselves and made us feel welcomed! thank you Friendly Tavern the name of the business is on point !

Both owners are rude and the wife of one of them is possessive and psychotic. Do not go here if you’re a decent looking woman the one wife will be upset if her husband is serving you. Horrible service, horrible attitude and jus not professional.

First time here, out of towner out here for work. Came here after dinner by myself and right away Ken the bartender welcomed me with a freshly poured 805 Cerveza. Highly appreciate the hospitality and amazing customer service keep killing it Ken.
