One of our favorite artisan ice cream shoppes in the lower mainland. Our favorite is the lemon curd and we always stock up on pints when we can! Their malt cookie dough is a very close second fav!
The ice cream is okay but the service is terrible. It seemed like we were inconveniencing the staff by ordering.

We came to find out about Banter recently. They have better ice cream with great service. We went twice and both times we had to wait at least 30 minutes, but every minute of waiting is worth it. Banter is going to be our new ice cream spot in Fraser Valley ?.Wheelchair accessibility: The spot is wheel chair friendly.

First time here I bought two scoops&cone and a few steps down the stairs the cone snapped and ice cream went all over me. Went to the car to clean up and just drove home rather than wait in line again. Not fun. Atleast the wife enjoyed the pistachio pint.

This is my favourite ice cream place in town. You can never go wrong with a scoop of banter ice-cream in their waffle cone, which is made in-house. I always get their seasonal flavours which change every month!

Best place for ice cream in Abbotsford. Staff is a bit slow, and it almost feels like they don't see the line growing. They take their "sweet" time. Having said that, they are super friendly, and the ice cream flavours are the best ?Best to avoid super hot days and best to go at off times, never after 5 pm. You will be waiting forever.
Five and a half out of five. Fresh. Flavour. Variety. Quality. Good and fast service. Lots of parking. Inside seating and outside standing areas. Comfortable. Inviting. Waffle cones made fresh right out front just as you order. Amazing. A great idea, great location and really really nice flavourful rich ice cream.EDIT: Two years later (2024) Oh, Banter!!! What have you done?!? Your waffle cones used to be GOOD, but now they're so thin they crumble with the slightest of pressure. As I watched the staff make the cones, they were translucent. The price no longer matches the quality. And the ice cream used to be quite plentiful down into the cone...now the small ball of ice cream almost falls out when the cone crumbles in my hand. It's supposed to be an ice cream cone experience.Today's staff were in the back and one was making waffles while the one guy helped customers had people out the door. No one thought to ask for help or just give help. It's too bad....only a 3 out of 5. Not as much of a draw as it once was and I've been coming for ages.

Their vegan ice cream is to die for but they only have two choices, chocolate and their rotating one. There’s 12 dairy options which cows literally die for. And lines can be over an hour on a nice day
