I had my birthday party here. Wayne and Cordell went above and beyond to make sure my special day was one to remember.The food was so good people went back for seconds and thirds!!! The drinks tasted like we were on vacation in Jamaica!!There was an amazing band and amazing dj that kept us dancing, and the service was just all around fantastic.This is definitely a birthday i will never forget. HIGHLY recommend this place. Will definitely become a regular now

I can not begin to describe how amazing the food, music and staff are here.Our son recently stumbled upon the Bistro one day with friends and told us how we had to come check this place out. Since we are fans of great food and music we decided to try it.The food was absolutely incredible! It was like I had just come home for a home cooked meal after being away for years!The drinks were well made with a good pour of alcohol vs mix (unlike some establishments) the music made for a great atmosphere and the servers were so friendly.I was so happy with the place that I decided to have my wife’s surprise birthday party here!We had approx 25 guests and a band!The food was so amazing people were having 3rds and the sound system was so great the band we hired wanted to play there again!!I cannot say how happy I am that out son found this place.If your looking for a meal, or somewhere to have an event, I cannot stress enough how happy you will be if you choose “ Cool Runnings”Enjoy!!!Dietary restrictions: Little to No Gluten here!
Last night I attended a private event for a friend's birthday party at Cool Runnings Bistro. What a great vibe they have there. Food was amazing. They did a buffet of Caribbean food. It was all amazing, but the Jerk chicken was my favorite. I can't say the live music was great, that would be arrogant, as I was in the band that played (It was great :) but it IS a great place to play. The owners have a fully equipped stage set up, and he mixed the sound for us. All around, just a gem of a place.

This is the third time my friends and I have booked and our booking has been cancelled. This last time, the cancellation came 13 minutes before the booked time. We were on our way there when we found out we had been cancelled. We booked 3 days in advance. When I spoke to the owner, he told me that this was an ‘ event place’. Please read into this that means that if a bigger party books you will be bumped with literally no notice. When I told him that we booked on Tuesday, he stressed that this was an event place and ‘everybody knows that’. He said that they only open for events so please be aware if you are not a booking for 20+ people, you will be bumped. They advertise themselves as a bistro, but this is a lie. You may be able to get a seat in the room next to the toilet. Maybe for a large booking this place is fine, but if you are a smaller group, do not trust that your booking will be honoured. I highly recommend that you find a more reliable place if you want an enjoyable evening.

I can not say enough good things about Coolrunnings Bistro. The owners and the staff are all wonderful people. The atmosphere and vibe here is amazing, chill, friendly. The food is delicious. This is by far one of my favourite places. Some weekends they have live music which is really fun. All in all just a really great place and a business that you want to support and give your money to :) You definitely need to check it out!

Second time going to Coolrunnings, great hosts, and was very accommodating preparing my vegetarian meal. They had the band playing, and while everyone was good, when Cordel joined in it just brought it all to the next level!Vegetarian options: Chick pea, ackee and callaloo.
