Unfortunately, both Google's hours of operation and the hours listed on their website are incorrect. We drove out from Langley on a Tuesday for 6:15 p.m. and sure enough they are closed, a wasted trip. Lazy administration/management, I won't be visiting again or opting for their products in retail spots

So back when Old Abbey Ales was new for Abbotsford, they were one of the first! We loved having a craft brewery blocks away! This was back 2015 (?) ish.It was good for a few years, but unfortunately they have consistently headed downhill, including with a change in management when they had eviction notices on the door and were closed. So they reopened under new, possibly oversea owners and, continued downhill. To cap my last visit (ever) was the large rat that ran by me in the front of house, I actually thought it was a small cat. Someone else also saw it, and, looked at me asking "did you see that too?" Yes. Yes I did.Apparently there might be rats in the grain sacks.

I enjoy old abbey ales typically. But this time we were there from 1045 to 1115 and they were not open yet so we had to leave.

Wow. What a selection of different flavored beers. Probably have to drink a couple flights here to experience them all.

This place sure got better from a few years ago. My wife and I have been going here consistently for many years. We found that the food truck on site is a great addition to the establishment. The only thing I would change is not have the food truck line up going down the middle of the patio. Having people wait in line and watching you eat and listening to your personal conversation is not the best. Also they bump your table cough or sneeze near you while eating and it's really fustrating. The food truck options for food is outstanding tho and great tasting. Check it out one day!!

Friendly bartender Shannon made for an enjoyable visit to Old Abbey Ales. This was my second time here and I was impressed with the wide selection and variety of beers. Although many were not to my liking (beet beer, for example), Shannon provided me with samples to help me find the perfect flight! Will definitely be back to enjoy the patio once the weather warms up. Cheers!

Dropped in on a last minute whim today. Wasn’t sure if it was even open as the open sign wasn’t on and what used to be a patio area was a messy debris field. Once inside and we asked the server if it was open we each ordered a beer. Apparently there was a breaker issue with one side of the place which also took out the video game but that wasn’t the big issue. There is a terrible funky smell permeating the premises. Not sure if from a bathroom problem or cats nearby? There is a bunch of food equipment it looked like piled to the side that weren’t operational. When we came before we had popcorn and it was great. Now the offering is a 25 cents bag of chips selling for 2$. Sadly this place seems completely neglected and Needs some TLC

10 out of 10 spot to have a drink. Good beer good times good laughs good brews. Special shout out to the Emily and Madison
Decent prices. Reasonable variety.Inside decore / atmosphere leaves much to be desired. They are moving so maybe then next location will be more appealing.

Had a flight of the Stout, Sour, PBJ, and cider. All tye flavors are really nice and subtle, not in your face. My 2 favorites was the Stout and the PBJ. Sour wasn't too too sour. I got another pint of the Stout and then brought a can home.Atmosphere is a bit quiet. Probably because I was there on a Tuesday at 8PM but still seemed pretty empty. They would do well with some food, even if it's small and easy prep.I had to do a double take at the prices. SO CHEAP. My Stout was like $2.58????I threw on a podcast and just enjoyed the beer. It was overall pretty good. Would reccomend!
