If you want to judge a coffee place, order the straight espresso. If you order the straight espresso at Oldhand you may be served the beat shot that you’ e ever had. This is partly because the Beans are of exceptional quality AND because the Baristas pay very careful attention. Very knowlegable Mikhaila sold me on the coffee and Lauren pulled two back to back over the top espressos. Great cozy cafe. Coffee and baked goods are top notch, this coming from a professional baker. The staff are always so friendly and have excellent customer service. Place is well maintained for cleanliness, including the bathrooms. It was definitely worth the drive out from Vancouver.
