This is a small but friendly restaurant. I had a miso soup with the specialty Crunch Bomb roll. Both were very good. My husband had a dinner box which was very good and very filling. I would definitely recommend this place.

We really just went here to kill some time waiting to meet up with someone..... I had 2 bowls of miso soup because I'm on a cleanse and my daughter had sunomono.. which she totally loves.In the past I've got a huge bowl of sunomono at other sushi restaurants for 4.95 or so.. I couldn't believe that this pitiful bowl of sunomono salad was 6.95. for that reason I wouldn't go back because it was totally overpriced. And it was just a hole in the wall restaurant too. But it was good though because this then motivated me to buy all the ingredients and just make this at home for her for 1/20th of the cost... So I guess I appreciate the motivation provided by this restaurant.Although I did to see their other reviews and things look good ?

Overall, not a bad place for decent sushi in a smaller town. California rolls and shrimp tempura were really nice and fresh, however the pork dumplings felt a little lacking in flavour with perhaps a little too much vinegar for my taste. They do carry Japanese beer though, so that’s always a plus!Took a first time sushi-trier here and she seemed to like it as well :)
Best sushi in town. There is no reason it should be less than 5 stars. The haters that say its because of change in management are less than able to make good choices in their lives and should consider a government funded life management system to help them with daily tasks. I'm Japanese. I've been to Japan. With current resources This family is producing the best, THE BEST, Japanese food in the valley. I will do everything in my power to keep it that way.
