We reviewed this Chinese and thought we would give it a try. We placed our order for take out and was told it would be ready in 40 minutes. When my husband arrived he was told it would be another 40 minutes luckily it was only 20. When he got home and we started eating our food we was severely disappointed! The sweet and sour pork was just a chewy mass and the chicken chow mein was salty, the chicken curry more vegetables than anything else and salty. The beef rice was a stodgy sticky mess and horrible. This was a lot of horrible food for nearly $100!!! We was very disappointed and would never eat from there again.

Despite the other ratings , I feel the food quality was nowhere near what I’ve seen in other Chinese style restaurants in metro Vancouver. I have yet to tour the Fraser valley eateries for Chinese food.We ordered.Deep prawns, beef and broccoli, lemon chicken, and vegetarian chow mein. Both the lemon chicken and the prawns were very heavily, battered, much heavier than one would expect from a Chinese style restaurant. Beef and broccoli was slightly dry. Portion sizes were a little bigger than expected, except for the chow main which was smaller than expected. We ordered for takeout, and the order was ready. Exactly on time.As stated in other reviews, the building is not much to look at, but that has nothing to do restaurant itself .Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian dishes

Recently moved to the area and have to try all the restaurants. Tonight is Chinese. I just picked the usual suspects to make my judgment. The fried rice was the only item I thoroughly enjoyed. The ginger beef was a bit too spicy for my liking but it was good. I really didn't like the sweet and sour pork, the sauce was good, however the meat was tough and cut too large for bite size pieces. My last dish was Chow Mein, not my favorite as the flavor was too strong and the noodles were soggy (for the lack of a better word).

Was very pleasantly surprised by this place! Please do not be turned away by the outside of this place. They have very good food!! I was very happy with the quality and freshness of the food. I also really enjoyed the amount of vegetables included in their dishes. We had a large order and really enjoyed everything. We actually thought this place was better than any Chinese restaurant in chilliwack. Will definitely be back

Don't let the exterior fool you, this place has excellent Chinese food. Highly suggest dining in. Having it fresh out of the kitchen just adds to the deliciousness.

We have been in and out of power all day, so decided to do take out! The Singapore Style Fried Rice Noodle was excellent. Loved the curry heat :) The Chicken Stir Fry with Black Bean was also very good. I got a few of the typical favourites for the kids. I’m happy they were open and able to accommodate my need to not cook lol… thank you <3

My family and I tried this place for the first time and it was surprisingly decent, definitely a bit heavy on the onion in the chow mein but the flavours were very good and we liked the chicken balls a lot. The young server there was polite and attentive, we’ll definitely try it again in the

Worst chow mein ever- soggy, 95% noodles and tasteless. Had to hunt for any veg. Sweet and sour pork very fatty . The ginger beef had no ginger flavour and was tough. Will never order from them again. This was our third and last time.

Great Chinese restaurant. There are only two in Agassiz, and we believe this is the better one. And, the food and service is better than most of the other restaurants in Agassiz and the general area.Everything is freshly prepared, and the owner is quite nice.*** Suggestion: Many people order takeout, especially dinner time, so plan ahead, or better yet, try to avoid dining in or ordering during peak lunch and dinner times. This is Chinese food, so like many Asian foods, it is salty. So, have some water. It's FREE at this restaurant!*** Suggestion: If you want something different that many Chinese restaurants offer across Canada, order from "House Specialties" in the menu. They're all very good, and the "pot stickers" are like Chinse dumpling or dim sum; good as a starter or appetizer while you wait for the main dishes.*** Suggestion: Under "Vegetarian" in the menu, choose the "Buddha Feast". It has a good variety, and is very delicious!*** Suggestion: Under "Appetizers" in the menu, we choose "Lettuce Wrap (Chicken or Beef)". It's a wrap that you place your meat and minced vegetables on a fresh, large piece of lettuce and roll it. It's a little messy, but worth it and delicious!*** Suggestion: Under "Fried Rice" in the menu, we love the "House Special Fried Rice (dry)". It is very delicious! Some people on a budget or travelling through quickly order a dish for the whole family to share a small meal. So, there you go. Dining in is nice as not crowded during off peak hours, and ordering take out is better experienced if you plan/call ahead or outside their peak hours. They're not open every day, and they're not open for lunch every day, so do your diligence and check before.
