“The guy that took our order was amazing, super patient and quite funny, and very thorough with our orders. (we had 2 separate orders for one vehicle) he got our sundaes and drinks straight away after taking payment, and asked us to pull ahead which was no big deal. However, from there we waited just over 20 minutes for 3 meals, all while our sundaes melted in the truck, and we watched no less than 6 vehicles come, order, get their food and leave all before we got our order. Once we finally got our food, it was practically cold and soggy, which left little to be desired. The chicken strip meal consisted of 3 chicken strips that were at a max 3.5 inches long and maybe an inch wide, there were large black and brown chunks of lord knows what piled in the onion rings, and like I said, the fries were cold and soggy once we got them. Sure, it cost about fifty bucks for 3 meals and by today's standards in the world that isn't much, but between the cold food, the melted sundaes that got all over everything by the time we arrived home (we literally live merely a 2 minute drive from dq at absolute max), and the ridiculously long wait time as well as the burnt.. Whatever they were chunks in lieu of onion rings, tonight's visit was disheartening and disappointing to say the least. This is not the usual standard of service dq as a whole provides, but specifically for this restaurant in particular, so I don't know if they were having a bad night, or what's changed (we don't eat out all that often, but, surely not THAT much has changed over the past few weeks...), but tonight was less than acceptable, extremely subpar in almost every area, and was not worth our gas going there, our time wasted waiting and certainly not worth the fifty bucks we wasted on cold food and inedible sundaes. Sad.“
“I was traveling by the bus to Abbotsford and the driver literally gave us 5 min break. So I came to McD ‘coz I knew they have express food service and guess what !..they didn’t let me down. The bus was leaving and I couldn’t wait for my two small orange pekoe so I left with the just the food. But the order taker was sent by the nice lady packing up the orders to deliver my teas in the bus. I’m extremely moved by their service. You guys made my day. Thank you so much for the work you guys do to make a customer’s day.“
