They substituted GF bread on the grazing board, and the Hokkaido Scallops (Wild mushroom risotto, porcini, truffle, chardonnay vinegar, parmigiano) was perfection! We will be back! The onsite pub also has plenty of gluten-free options with a dedicated fryer! A must for those with celiac disease!Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten-free options! Very knowledgeable about celiac disease. Brought us a grazing board for the table and substituted gluten-free items! Sensational!

We had a late Sunday breakfast. Our server was exceptional and breakfast was excellent. The room and view perfect. I highly recommended and will return without doubt, my first choice for a nice breakfast out now. Look forward to trying dinner. Once again, congratulations on the fabulous service

Brentwood Bay Lodge is a lovely spot, and a dinner in the newly renovated Arbutus Room is special. The feedback we would offer is that we were there for a birthday celebration, which was noted on the reservation. Not even a 'thank you for joining us for your birthday' was extended. Two of us ordered the scallops and mushroom risotto, although flavor was ok, there were only 3 very small scallops and mostly mushrooms mixed with a bit of risotto. The dish was not a favorite. It's important to note that the salmon with gnocchi was excellent. The seafood pasta included a generous serving of clams and was tasty. At no time during the meal did anyone check in to see if anything further was needed for the table or if we were enjoying everything. We were not offered the opportunity for an additional bottle of wine until the end of the meal, and the option of dessert was not suggested or offered. We are frequent visitors to the resort in the Arbutus Room, pub and spa and found the service to be less in the Arbutus Room than what we are accustomed to throughout the resort, especially given we were celebrating a special occasion.

Great experience. Everything we ate the whole table of 4 shared and loved. The mushroom/scallop risotto was a stand out. The chairs were so comfortable, and the tables are nicely spaced so it felt private. There was even mellow live music (Saturday night). We stayed for about 3 hours, it was a wonderful!

We went to the Arbutus Room for dine around to try the 3-course meals. The food was served promptly (very little waiting between courses), the waitress was attentive and everything tasted great. The gluten free meal was safe for someone with celiac disease.

We visited here for the Dine around. The lobster grilled cheese was great! The lobster bisque and the lobster itself (tender - perfectly cooked) were amazing. The burrata salad was a bit disappointing since the dressing was too simple. I could taste salt here, vinegar there with oil. I felt it was not mixed well and didn't have much flavour.The short rib was tender. The Lasagna was just okay. It had lots of broccoli, and the flavour was just what you would expect for a cream sauce with cheese and broccoli. Unfortunately, I didn't like the texture of the pasta either.Dessert was okay. Tiramisu was too sweet with lots of chocolate rather than espresso. Panna cotta was not what I expected... what I know is white, gelatiney, light and puddingy. What I got was more gooey/sticky, heavy, and tasted like butterscotch jello cups.The view was amazing. If you are going for a view and some drinks, this would be a great place to visit.

We had breakfast in The Arbutus Room & thoroughly enjoyed it. Our server Ethan was fantastic and the food was well prepared, nice portion & reasonably priced we will return.

6 of us came for a birthday dinner. A few of wanted the dine around menu and a few of us wanted Ala cart. We were told we all had to agree on one or the other. Which was akward. We went with the dine around and the food was amazing! Service however was very slowwwww. We were at the table for quite sometime before we even saw a server. They offered us drinks which took another 20 minutes. Maybe 30-40 minutes of us being there they finally took out order. We then sat there with empty plates on our table for way too long. Along with empty water glasses. We got our dishes cleared and asked for dessert to go which came promptly. But then we had to flag someone down to get our bill. Overall, for the cost of dining there, I would expect service to be on point.
Had a lovely family dinner at the Arbutus room at Brentwood Bay resort and spa. One of the better restaurants on the peninsula for sure and I would highly recommend it for an event or a date night.

Great dinner once again. Thank you! The only draw back, to my mind, was the duo playing, Lust Life is their name I believe. They played as if they were the show rather than a key part of the ambiance. Their volume would be fine for a show but too loud for dinner. Yes, they are talented just too loud for the occasion. We were seated as far from them as could be.

We started off sharing the delicious Crab Cake while enjoying the 2 person band. They made our night. I had the Short Ribs and my husband had the Tenderloin. Both were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The beef melted in our mouths! The service was great as well. Would highly recommend! What a treat!

Fabulous!!! We live in the neighbourhood but just never think of going here because of seeing bad reviews but found out there is a new Chef and new menu so thought we would give it a try. The restaurant itself is gorgeous in a beautiful setting and we went during the holidays so was beautifully decorated for the occasion. Our meals were delicious!! Large portions and cooked to perfection. Lots of options on the menu too. All in all was a lovely evening and will definitely be back!
