Have you been here lately? Seems that all the reviews are super old. Well, tried it again after a year and nothing changed. Rolls are very small, (2 for $20!!) no taste and very expensive to say the least. And we had to smoother them in ginger and soya sauce. Wish I'd have taken a picture. Would not recommend.

I love this place! I've been going since they opened. The sushi is always fresh and delicious, and the service is always friendly. Very nice family! For the people saying the wait times are long, it really depends when you call. Sometimes they tell me 10 minutes, other times it can be up to an hour, but for the most part, I rarely have to wait longer than half an hour. I'm a local and a regular - love supporting a small local business! Would highly recommend Yami for their sushi :)

After loosing/ forgetting about our special birthday order placed 2 hours in advance the restaurant was unable to make it and told me there was nothing they could do.

The Empourium is one of my favourite cafe-restaurants around. I just love the community feel, whether it is simply stopping by for lunch, or attending one of their excellent evening events. I've really enjoyed the various musical acts, and one of my most cherished recent memories was learning to paint Ukrainian Easter Eggs with my son and his partner. The staff are always friendly and helpful, plus the selection of gifts and cards is top-notch, and I seem to always find something whimsical that I can't resist! Karen W
As a self proclaimed coffee snob, I think the Emporium consistently serves the best coffee on the island, bar none! Their coffee is of high quality, hot and delicious. I also enjoy their fresh selection of sumptuous healthy muffins and other baked goods. They also serve tasty sandwiches and homemade soups. The ambience of the cafe is warm, inviting and cozy with soft background music, original local artwork on the walls and they have a wonderful selection of cards, gifts, T shirts and unique pieces of clothing. Worth the visit!

Very fresh and yummy! The Negi Hamachi cone is so yummy! Have eaten lunch takeout over 100 times and have never had a bad meal!

We decided to get sushi a couple nights ago and we were told it would take an hour and a half… upon arriving 6 minutes early we were treated rudely and told to come back in 6 minutes and the food wasn’t ready yet. When we came back, they were microwaving our chicken for the teriyaki chicken roll we ordered…… When we actually got our meal, the portions were extremely small for more than $50. I’ve ordered more sushi than that at other places and only ended up paying around $30 for probably double the amount of sushi. We just wanted to support a local small business but we absolutely will not be back. Not worth the money, being treated badly, and getting overpriced MICROWAVED sushi…

California rolls have a great taste, and the food is fresh and enjoyable. Time to serve depends on how busy they are but they do quite good turnaround so haters gonna hate. Would recommend.
