We chose this place for a quick morning breakfast and/or brunch, I got mushroom and herbs omelette (Forestiere) and Mocka. To be honest I really enjoyed the mocka, it did not disappoint. I will say it was one of the most delicious ones I have ever had, It is a bit high in sugar but I loved it. As for the omelette, I liked the potatoes alongside but the eggs were a bit raw, which I am not sure is normal for an omelette and another good point, it is not salty, so if your prefer salty dishes ask for salt.

When I was told that this little hole in the wall had the best French onion soup and the freshest baguettes, I could not WAIT to see for myself. Chez Meme Baguette Bistro is a tiny little gem in Burnaby Heights, owned by the kindest husband and wife duo, and the atmosphere will make you feel as if you're at home catching up with a friend you have not seen for a while! Man, I got lucky; I visited them right before in-door dining was restricted and I was so glad I did! All of their soups and sandwiches are homemade and you can tell the amount of effort and love they put into each and every dish. The French onion soup is so delicious and so comforting (the cheesiness, the sweetness of the onions and the savoury soup will give your tastebuds a hug), especially on an overcast day. The baguettes are super fresh and kind of addicting-- super crunchy on the outside and so soft and fluffy on the inside!!! Now that in-door dining restrictions have lifted, I highly recommend visiting this lovely little establishment and show support to all the small businesses that took a pretty huge blow during the pandemic!

Came here for breakfast. I wasnt expecting much by decore. But it was one of the best omelets ive had 8n a while. Perfectly seasoned. They did not have a couple of options on menu. But i get that keeping expensive items on hand in this strange time. Pleasantly surprised.

We came to this restaurant for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we felt good. The meal was yummy. We loved this place a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

The signature breakfast dish we came here for was not available, along with a few other items. Since the menu is limited to begin with, this really restricted the options. Our server was very attentive and did a great job.The food was mediocre. Having to resort to the standard eggs & sausage breakfast with a side of fresh tomatoes as an addition, the eggs were good, the hash hashbrown chunks were good, and the sausage was good. The tomatoes were just 1/2 a fresh tomato sliced up, and the 'toast' resembled 2 miniature subs but were hard as a rock. We also didn't get any salt or pepper, although we asked for and did receive hot sauce (a bottle of Frank's Hot).Overall, it was ok but wasn't anything special and we're not going back, although if we had lived within a few blocks we probably wouldn't object to going regularly.

Had a sandwich with the potato leek soup. The soup tasted like it came from a can and had a peculiar taste. Definitely didn't seem like it was made with fresh ingredients.I'm not sure why people are giving this place so many stars. It is just okay...Not to mention you come out of the restaurant with a greasy smell all over your clothes.

Had lunch at this cozy little place in January. I thought it was a great bang for your buck. Had the braised beef baguette and a French onion soup. Both were outstanding! I believe everything is made in house. Will definitely go back.

We go there for breakfasts on weekends. They have a limited menu due to COVID protocols. However, it is still a nice place to go to in an area desperate for more such places.

A neighborhood gem! Their omelet is super fluffy and creamy. Baguette is crunchy on the outside, very soft on the inside. I'm usually not a bread person, but oh my, their bread is soooo good! I tried their soup, it was super hearty as well. I wish they are here to stay!
