We waited for 1 hour to get our foods, which was too ridiculous!!The waitress forgot to place our order leaving us waiting 30mins, and after she re-ordered, we still waited 30mins. Which restaurant will let customers to wait 30mins to get the food? And she didn’t say nothing to us even not apologizing. The worst services we have ever encountered!!!

Filling and dumplings are handmade in the restaurant! The best Shanghai dim sum restaurant in Vancouver!!

Pretty average dimsum place, the dumplings were decent and I didn’t find anything wrong with them, it’s just that we usually go to Crystal mall for our xlbs/pan fried steamed soup buns and they’re much bigger at the same/a very similar price point. Hence, we’d probably stick to Crystal Mall if we want to get our soup bun fix (if you don’t mind the crowdedness and lack of seating.)

It’s great. Food is legit and authentic. It’s fresh made so the time between ordering and getting your order is maybe longer than you were expecting. Came in for dinner.

Love this little Shanghainese dumpling place! The menu isn't extensive, but everything we tried was well done. Very authentic, and the flavors are on point. The xiaolongbao had a great filling, and the skin isn't too thick, which is sometimes a problem at other places. The shenjianbao are fried until crispy, and the soup inside is just as good as the xiaolongbao! Their spring rolls are a great balance of textures.Service was quick, but dumplings that are made fresh do take some time to arrive at the table. There's not a ton of tables, and the space is fairly small. It's a little hole in the wall, and it's a true gem.

Tasty! We ordered a big shrimp wonton soup and meat with shrimp xiao long bao.Wonton soup is clear and smooth. Not oily or MSG salty. Still have enough flavours. Good mix of a light soup with flavourful taste of the wonton. Loved how big the wonton was and had a full size of shrimp in each.If you ever had the xiao long bao from Din Tai Fung, in comparison, this restaurant's xiao long bao was less juicy because some pieces had less juice. Flavour wise is very good and concentrated. Skin was thin. Personally I think 5 per person is enough because the density is so concentrated. This is not a restaurant that will get you full. We wish they had some sort of hand made soup noodle to fill us up.Definitely worth a try! Feels quite legit.

Shanghai Wonton and dumplings are the best we ate in Vancouver. The Bund are also dry good. All are handmade which is appreciate. But it is a bit expensive that we cannot eat many times. But there is no parking nearby the shop.

Unpopular opinion but I don't understand the hype. The portions are tiny and the prices are a bit high. Almost every dish is served on paper plates, the place is small so there's not much seating, and the wait is long (granted this is a mom and pop hole in the wall). Food is like any other Shanghainese place, XLBs aren't as big as some other places. This is sadly a one and done for me.

Super flavourful xlb & buns, although the skin could be a lot thinner for the xlb. Small menu but delicious food. Definitely will be back.

Not a lot of seating and prepare to wait a long time because everything is steamed to order. The XLBs have a lot of soup but not too much flavor to it. They are also tinier than other places. The dip wasn't vinegary enough for me - might be diluted. The pan fried shangjianbaos were super crispy but again on the small side. The spring rolls were great! Super juicy filling. They may have limited per day because it was 12:30pm on a Saturday and apparently we got the last order of spring rolls. The big wontons weren't really wontons. They were more like jiaoji dumplings. The soup was mediocre. However the soup for the mini wontons was much better with the seaweed in it.

We went on wednesday afternoon for dinner. There was no line up and we got seated right away. We got the pork and shrimp soup dumplings. They were small but very flavorful. We both love it. We also ordered rice siumai and it was good too. Even the hot tea served (black tea) is smooth to drink. Overall, we got a nice dinner here.

Authentic Shanghainese experience! This was my second visit to the restaurant, for dinner. My first time here was with friends for lunch. The menu is the same for both. With the 5 people ordering dinner the selection was limited compared to the other Shanghainese restaurants in the Metrotown area. The food is average but the service is excellent. They only have about 6-8 small tables so it doesn't work for large groups.
