Food and drinks were really good. Service was prompt and quick, while also not invasive. Linh did a really good job and was always present when needed, taking care of tables and noticed missing forks/knives. Good experience

Hostess was rude, and their waitlist system didn't work, arrived 6:30 and left around 9. Fries were too salty, steak was lukewarm(or they seated us near the door which were so cold that we had to wear jacket whole time), and the menu did not mention that the bangkok bowl had cilantro in them. I was so disappointed, but our waitress was doing an amazing job.

This is our family's favourite local restaurant. Anytime we've had an issue with the food here, they've always gone out of their way to fix the situation for us. The staff here absolutely rock! If you want a delicious meal and amazing service, this is the place to dine at. Looking forward to our next visit.

Yet another bad experience with earls.Didn't eat food. Went on for a job.Had an interview scheduled.I show up for my interview. I see 2 people ahead of me.The host seats me at a table and lets me know the original chef to interview me is busy in a meeting and another chef with interview me. Okay fine NP.Well he comes out with a limp handshake and immediately asks where is my resume. Well the two other people ahead of me. 1 woman 1 brown guy were never asked for their resume nor did they have it with them as we all applied online.So the chef has no idea who I am or anything. I was communicating with someone completely different who saw not only my resume my my LinkedIn profile. Where all my experience is posted.Which is over 10 years plus culinary school.The interview didn't go good at all.He was asking questions in a way where he didn't believe me or something. Very condensending.The approach i went with was, I have all the experience in the world cooking.I need a chef to help develop my management skills.I can cook so easily its natural to me. If you're a chef you know exactly what I'm saying.Earls says they are equal opportunity employeer, work life balance, great opportunity for advancement. Figure I'll keep trying earls.Well Earls sucks azz, and I am giving up on that company.At the end of my interview, the chef is like we have to figure out a training schedule and will get back to you in a couple days.Okay awesome, but you didn't take my name or phone or email, you didn't write anything down, you didn't ask what shifts I can work you didn't ask how much I expected to be paid.Not to worry. I knew I didn't have the job the moment the chef who interviewed me was an opposite race then me. It sucks but I was right and this definitely isn't the first time.What I find funny though. Is thiswas exactly how earls at Yaletown treated me during their interview a few months back.Literally word for word.My original interview was with a Douglas workman. Sounds like a guy who looks like me. Canadian. Thought I had equal chance. But got switched up at the last moment to a brown guy who didn't bring my resume. I don't think he knows my name. I didn't know his. He didn't tell me when his limp hand shook mine. So I went with chef.This is now the 3rd Earls location I've interviewed at and each time was treated very unprofessionally and borderline discrimination. The 1st location Robson st. Literally asked my age and marital status during the interview even a customer intervened and said to the chef he shouldn't ask those questions.Most people would wonder why the H id even try.Well I like challenges.Perhaps the way I feel today is exactly how blacks felt/feel when they get discriminated against. You can't prove anything but how can you explain a guy with over 10 years experience, culinary diploma, willing to work full-time and any shift not get offered a job?. It's not like I asked for to much money. We didn't discuss it. Perhaps it was my white skin and bald head. ??Yes I'm sure you have white folks working there. Strategically placed.
