IF YOU LIVE IN THE AREA AND AREN'T SHOPPING HERE, YOU'RE MISSING OUT!!! The staff are incredibly nice and the selection was much bigger than I thought! On top of this, the quality and price beats any grocery store you could shop at. Hill's Bakery will be getting my business for baked goods for the foreseeable future.

I bought home scones baked from Hill's.Supposed to be cranberry but so few in them I got about 3 in one scone and little to none in one of them. Scones should be made with butter but these listed vegetable oil and shortening, presumably cheaper. Bland and more like white bread, I don't think Hill's really knows what a scone is.

The best bakery in Burnaby, hands down. I love that it gives me a very old fashion feel. I highly recommend their banana bread, and apple danish!

I bought the shortbread and butter tarts because I trusted hills bakery for quality. Epic fail! Shortbread is made with margarine ? butter tarts have an even worse list of ingredients.I won’t buy any Hills products ever again

The most delicious baked goods. I’m obsessed with the vegan tarts and strudel. The bread is also super tasty. Highly recommend. I love supporting small businesses and this is one that will not disappoint. They have a great selection and are very reasonably priced. Thank you!

We love their baked goods - we buy a variety of items but the kids and I love their garlic bread. The prices are great in our opinion, and service is always good. Ample parking. Highly recommend!

The bread here is excellent, fresh and very reasonably priced. This is been my go to Bakery in North Burnaby for over 30 years since before when it was called Mac's Bakery.I can't eat a sandwich at work with anything but their whole wheat bread. It is so good. Staff is always friendly shout out to Camile, who goes above and beyond with her service and smile

Nice factory outlet for common baked goods. A++ for the older folks who know what I mean. ?

I'm totally blown away by the prices here. $1.50 for bread (white and wholewheat) is so unheard of now. And $2 for sourdough? I had tried the sourdough bread before and while the texture is not of the chewy type like at artisanal bakeries, it is good enough. This is not a fancy bakery but just a place where they bake the bread fresh daily. It reminds me of an old school rustic bakery. Closed on Sunday. There are also other baked goods like cookies, scones, muffins, loaf cake etc and they come in packs of 6 for $3.50 and up. I wanted to get garlic bread ($3) but it was not ready when I was there. If you are watching your budget, come here to get your bread and stuff. Parking is available in the lot and there is a bus stop right outside.

The bran muffins are too sweet. Most bran muffin customers don't want all that sugar in a bran muffin. The other bakery items are fine.

My partner and I stopped here on a whim today and bought apple strudels. The best apple strudels I have ever had in my life!! The person who served us was also so kind and inviting, just overall a great experience.
