Way too much MSG in the soup. The presented amount of side dish is for one person regardless how many you are in. Please serve side dishes per person!! The BROTH was very MSG tasted liked. This is the main issue. When the broth is hot, you can't see. When it is cooled down, you can taste all MSG. Now it's $17 per meal. Tip setting was not for customer's favour. Well, not good is not good. Sorry. You will also be smelled like Korean hot pot after leaving this place after one simple meal. It's not the homey place I remember any more.

A delicious Korean restaurant I enjoy and can always take my vegetarian friends too. A Burnaby staple near Lougheed SkyTrain station.Vegetarian options: I can always enjoy a dinner with my vegetarian friends and there are no issues.

Their stews became my comfort food 10+ years ago. 10/10 would recommend to try at least once.

My fourth visit left me thoroughly disappointed. Despite recommending this place to many friends, today's visit fell short. With a group of 7, we were inconveniently split into two distant tables, while a spacious table for 8 and adjacent tables remained unoccupied. Ironically, a group of 6, with a later queue number, got the large table we were denied. The side dish portion was a mere one scoop for the entire table, and not once did we receive water or a side dish refill during the meal. To top it off, the food quality seemed to have deteriorated. This restaurant, with its evident decline in service quality, is no longer a favorite.

They explicitly refuse to add any side dish. It’s a first in any Korean restaurant. My son liked the mesh potato so I asked if I can have a second scoop but was declined.

Very bad dining experience. There are only 4 tables of customer. Two waitresses chat and hide in the corner. When you try to add some side dishes, they look the other way and ignore you.The price of the tofu soup keep increasing, and the service is getting worse. Not recommend this restaurant.

Great for people who can't handle spicy food! They have white tofu soup which is flavourful on its own. Highly recommend the mushroom tofu soup!

They forgot to give us water and tea but honestly I enjoyed my time anyway, and the server we had was very nice and chill. I like their screen with tables and the atmosphere reminds me of when I would eat with parents or relatives at a restaurant.

Tofu soup was very good here. Mild to medium is recommended for those who aren't too familiar with spicy food. The bill should come out to around 20 dollars per meal.

Food is consistent, very affordable for value and service is mostly fair. (Yes prices went up and portions got smaller but in this economy their deal still doesn’t seem unreasonable at all)There was this one staff member, though. The waitress taking orders blatantly ignored me and went to every other table first, not sure why. Maybe because I look younger than other patron, was alone and/or don’t look like I speak Korean. She dismissively waved off my attempt to call her and tried to take orders from a table next to mine even though they weren’t even ready, and then walked off to every other table. I was not served drinking water until another staff came around even though the lady in question already got to every other seated table, which were 5 including myself at the time. If it was by order of seating, I wasn’t the last to walk in from our cluster of the lunch rush.Maybe she was just rushed and preoccupied since it was opening hours, as this was never an issue in all my years of patronage (I’ve visited on and off since it first opened). Still, it was very off-putting. After reluctantly taking my order a good while after, she never once came back to check on me until I left. The other waitress (who I’ve seen from previous visits and was the one who got me my water and food) was cordial enough to not ruin my appetite completely. The 2 remaining “service” stars are there entirely for this other person.Hoping this was a simple circumstantial misunderstanding. Not sure I’ll visit again anytime soon to find out, however.

My friends love this place, so every time we just wanted an alternative to ramen or Japanese food. My friend and I would come for for a nice bowl of hot tofu soup to mix with rice. Currently with how expensive food are these days, Id say it's a nice treat under $20. As with most Korean food it's not meant to fill you up unless you do Korean BBQ which is around the $40 range now. It's tasty, nice side dishes with kimchi, seaweed, not extremely expensive. If you're driving just letting you know i'd you park anywhere else it's a ticket or a tow, park underground you get the risk of a break in, and if you want to park in front of the restaurant the spots are really small and limited so you'll have to do some parking gymnastics.Overall quality and service is decent. But i wouldn't say it's the best either.

Korean tofu soup cannot be made better! The flavour of the soup is satisfyingly spicy, rich, and consistent. The tofu is soft, tender, and decent in portion. Don't underestimate the size of the small pot. I always tried to order a side dish but ended up full with the tofu soup alone. Give it a try and you will fall in love with it too!
