Following our visit to James Street Cafe on New Year's Day, I observed that the overall dining experience differed from my previous positive encounters. While acknowledging the possible impact of limited staff during this period, it's notable that the cassava, though palatable, carried a distinct oil aroma, hinting at excessive usage.The Pili Pili chicken, unfortunately, deviated from the usual standard, being exceptionally dry and lacking the customary sauce. I understand that special occasions like New Year's Day may present operational challenges, but consistency in food quality remains paramount.Regrettably, I'm inclined to withhold future visits for the time being. It appears that the establishment may be unintentionally compromising its commitment to culinary excellence, leaning towards a model that prioritizes quantity over the renowned quality I've previously enjoyed.This feedback is offered constructively, with the hope that James Street Cafe continues to refine its operations and maintains the high culinary standards that have characterized my prior experiences.

Had the chai, curry chicken with rice and naan, it was delicious. Large pieces of chicken in the curry. Chai was so good, the server was so friendly and gave me an extra cup! Would come back here to support local restaurants.

We were there last night for a large dinner party.The host was very nice and welcoming everyone as they entered.The food tasted very good and there was quite a variety.The service was excellent and the servers went beyond.Samosas and lapsi were excellent.The restaurant looked clean and the lighting was good.The washrooms very clean too.They let us enjoy and we didn't feel pressured to leave.I definitely recommend eating there or having a partyKid-friendliness: Kids has their own table and having a lot of funWheelchair accessibility: Easy access
1st time Ben to this restaurant and the last time . The food was horrible. They called their buffet luxury buffet? I don’t see nothing Luxury about it. Too much colouring in the food. ?. I do not recommend to go there.
I ordered to go pick it up and when I got to the restaurant I ordered chocolate cake which they put in a take away box. I got home and there was a strong incense smell and I couldn’t even swallow the cake. I called them to let them know and they told me it’s the candle they burn. I wanted my refund so I told them am coming to drop it off and get my refund. They were very rude and started swearing at me on the phone and in the restaurant. The manager is very rude and’s swearing at customers. Am never ordering from them again.

One of my favorite South Asian restaurant in town.Excellent foods in here my all time favorite is beef samosa and biryani beef,im a frequent in here and I can say that taste of dishes are comsistent.Free parking.Large and spacious Indian gig with dim light and simple classy interior design.Clean as well including washroom.Service is always friendly.I highly recommend this placeKudos!
