My first visit to the restaurant. It was not easy to find their own parking but very convenient to park at the Save On Foods next door.Covid protocol means no menus which is difficult with an elderly guest along. The app is unavailable in English, so hard to choose menu items.They did not even have a take out menu!I finally ordered the medium chicken hotpot which was delicious and still too spicy for me, but very tasty. Huge portion.May visit again with someone who can read the menu!

Spice alert! Came here first time to try out their house special chicken with herbs. We asked for mild spiciness but it's still quite spicey. Otherwise, the chicken hotpot was very flavorful. There were 5 of us and we ordered a hot pot for 2-3 people size which is big enough. There was snacks on the table while we waited for the hotpot. The waitress brought some dipping ingredients which we're supposed add the soup to it. Also ordered some angus beef and beef tongue which was pretty good. Most impressive are the two desserts. The brown sugar jello is light and great to balance out the spicey and oily dishes. The other is the fired durian balls. Outside is lightly battered and fried to perfection. Then there's a layer of light mochi and the center is liquidy durian goodness.

Went there during the week day so we got a table right away. We tried all three chicken pots. We liked two of them except for the one with chestnut, which has no taste at all. They offered us a sauce to go with the chestnut chicken pot but that sauce doesn't taste good either. Service was good when we were there. Overall, it's worth to try!

Great place！Good service. My daughter cried a lot, the waitress gave her a cutee toy to comfort her. She was so happy, we enjoyed having dinner here! Will come back for sure

3.5 stars if I could. Expected more from this place due to ratings. Liked the food. Service could be more attentive. Dishes and bowls could be better washed or replaced. We came here on a Friday night. Ordered the half and half pot. The original broth is tasty, you can drink the hearty soup. The spicy one they didn't bother asking out spiciness preference. We skimmed some chilli off the top to make it more suitable. Less memorable flavour as the numbness overpowered. We ordered some lamb, veges, fish, tofu skin, and noodles. Portions are decently generous so we couldn't finish between the two of us. The chicken in the base pot will fill you up a good amount. There is already enoki mushroom in the mixed vege platter so wish we knew that so we don't have to order. They also didn't have beef in stock which is ridiculous. Most furniture is pre existent from simmer huang (previous restaurant) days. Main two suggestions are service and cleanliness. Management please get a proper industrial dish washing machine if you don't already have one. The plastic plates and bowls just don't seem as new and clean as they should be for this price point. Food is good but service and operation (why no beef in stock?) can improve.
