Hubby and I are glad that we discovered this gem on Edmonds St located close to Canada Way. They have a wide selection of Taiwanese food in their menu and they also have reasonably priced "combos." I loved my sesame noodles with pork sauce while the hubby enjoyed his fried rice and chicken nuggets. All were delicious, served hot and affordably priced. Highly recommend dining in (if you can) to eat it freshly made. Ordered delivery from here and it wasn't the same experience when the dishes have cooled down a bit.

No complaints. This place has apparently been around since 1997. I can see why it has lasted so long. Got the popcorn chicken Nuggets and they were delicious. Can't go wrong with that. Got the pork belly bao and ohh!! This was my favourite. The bao was soft and fluffy and the pickled crunch of the Taiwanese veggies added a nice textural component to the soft melty pork belly. Flavour was on point too! We also ordered the fish cakes and those were something I haven't tried before. Kinda tastes like mochi but lighter. Wasn't a huge fan of the pearl house pork on rice but their noodles look good. Will be back for sure! Saw a few delivery orders go out too while eating lunch there.

I have been ordering the beef noodles at this place for almost a decade. I used to love the noodles, but today I’ve had the worst taste ever, oily, greasy and the beef wasnt fresh at all. Very disappointing. They just lost a loyal customer!

First time here in awhile and it didn’t disappoint. I like the variety of options and combinations on the menu. Price also seems reasonable for what you get.

Slightly on the pricier end but decent taiwanese food. Wish there was more variety with the bubble tea. There is not always parking available.

Have gotten take out from here a number of times. The food is generally pretty good, especially the pork belly dishes with rice, so this last time I tried their pork belly bun. The pork, bun and peanut powder were good, but the preserved vegetables in it were a bit too salty, and I was also not a fan of how they made it spicy. I have had this dish numerous times in Taiwan and haven't encountered any that were like spicy like this. I think they might want to reconsider how they make it, as it is otherwise a very good dish. On the bright side, I also tried their deep fried buns with condensed milk this time, and those were excellent.

This is our goto Taiwanese place in Burnaby, much better prices than Myst but still has my favorites. I almost always order the crispy chicken nuggets with noodles in soup and it never disappoints!

Too hot to cook at home so decided to go grab noodles for dinner. We shared a bowl of beef tendon noodle, a bowl of beef shank and tendon noodle, crepe roll with egg and corn, chicken nuggets and a bowl of sesame noodles. Chicken crispy and juicy topped with deep fried basil leaves. All tasted pretty good. Tendon needed to be cooked a little longer.

a family member has dined here on several occasions, mainly for lunch. They offer an extensive selection of combo and regular menu items including a big selection of drinks (milk teas, fresh juice, cream latte, shaved ice, etc). Mostly Taiwanese entrees. I had the spicy tofu with minced pork and rice. I asked for less spicy which wasn’t a problem. The prices of the entrees were in the medium price range. It seemed a few locals dine here. The place was clean and had good ambiance. Service was rushed. I told the server I needed a few minutes to look over the menu, and within a few minutes she was standing by our table waiting for the order. It took less than 8 minutes to get my dish and the other ordered dish took longer. I noticed one of the cook’s was chatting on his cell phone while he was cooking. Somewhat discerning when I didn’t notice him wearing gloves. The place is located in a mini strip mall just off Canada Way and Edmonds in Burnaby. Parking was bit of a challenge – either in the small parking lot or on Edmonds (1 hr limit from M – S). Not sure if I will be back.

Like the Taiwan Beef Noodle. However, they rank out of bubble pearl for my favourite bubble tea. The black sesame tea is disappointing with so few sesame.
