It was a Friday night, but I was able to get in smoothly without a reservation.This is a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious and casual food at reasonable prices.I've heard that you can't get into the same chain of shops downtown without a reservation, so if you want to stretch your legs and come to Burnaby, you'll probably be able to get in on the day without a reservation.

I've been at this location several times and the food and service was great!However, I went tonight, it was Pasta Tuesday so all pastas were $16, which is a great deal.But, I was just disappointed with the food. Me and my partner ordered both the Spaghetti and Meatballs, one with tomato sauce and the other with truffle cream. Both were underwhelming, underseasoned and bland. It seemed as if either the pasta water wasn't salted or the sauce wasn't seasoned. I had to add salt/pepper to almost every bite. Other than that, usually when I ordered the truffle cream one it's usually so creamy, but mine was just super oily.Our server as well didn't touch our table to ask how everything was and we had to constantly wave her down just for water. We waited for the bill after she cleared our plates, but she was no where to find for like 10 minutes. We ended up paying up at the front desk.Not the best service tonight, but the fococcia was great ?

I‘ve been there the day before. Pizza Hawaii, Garlic bread and a house made peach lemonade. Good stuff. Tasty. Especially the lemonade. Not the best pizza I’ve ever eaten but so what.Very attentive and charming waitress! Her name was and hopefully still is Parisa. Thank you very much for the beautiful time there.

The environment is spacious and comfortable, and the restaurant decoration is very modern. There is an oversized kiln oven placed in the center of the restaurant, with a round countertop for mixing drinks, which is very beautiful. The meals are also served together, allowing everyone to enjoy the food at the same time.

My husband and I just left Trattoria Burnaby pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Don't know where to start. You must try their muscles, to die for. Halibut, spaghetti carbonara and Cesar salad were impeccable. Tiramisu, best in town. Drinks were perfect and you get it all with smiling faces of fast servers. Staff is incredibly coordinated and pleasant. Managers were helping them deliver orders as soon as the kitchen staff was putting them out. We don't have one negative thing to say about this place. Definitely, will return for another pleasant treat.
I went to dine at Trattoria with a group of friends and everything was good until I found Nail polish with sparkles in my mouth while eating the salad that we ordered. Unfortunately I forgot to take picture but that was a completely gross experience. The staff was kind enough to replace my salad, gave their apologies, and gave a complementary dessert. To my disappointment, the bill came and I had to pay the full bill. I expected that they would take off the salad from my bill as this was completely unacceptable at a established restaurant /restaurant group in Vancouver. Because of this experience, my wife and I will think twice before going back to trattoria or anything affiliated with the Glowbal group.

I didn't have a bad experience, I don't think im coming back unless I have to. Server was polite and quick, though I wish she didn't sit us right beside some super loud people. There was plenty of seats, not sure why I didn't ask myself to sit elsewhere. Not a huge deal.Food was hit and miss, some things were good and some things were less good. To start we had the beef carpaccio and the steamed muscles, the beef carpaccio was decent and the muscles were under seasoned. The beef carpaccio was okay, wasn't my favourite as most of the flavour came from the white sauce on it. The muscles were better but still not enough salt and definitely not enough spices in the sauce. Missing garlic flavour as well.Pasta was alot better then the starters. The spaghetti carbonara was good and had nice aged flavour. The linguine gamberi was also very nice, prawns were delicious and perfectly cooked.Over all I give this place a 3.5/5
