If you're planning on going here for drinks - WATCH YOURSELF!!! The Grand Villa Casino Security is inconsistent & incompetent in doing a decent job. They assume, jump to conclusions, treat patrons very badly, & act like they are police following the code blue all united as one & it doesn't matter who you talk to - to make a complaint as they don't want to hear it or deal with anything appropriately. The police should start to patrol this venue often to investigate BC Liquor violations in following Serving It Right standards. They over serve patrons, do not have socially responsible signs posted at their bars, let intoxicated crazy characters hang around, if it's not directing intoxicated patrons to leave responsibly and ensure they do, they will treat you like sh*t if you're a little buzzed & will ban you for 6 months based on "how they feel" & what their "mood" is like. If they aren't under regulating or over regulating their patrons they're nowhere to be found when crazy drunk people are stalking, harassing, or getting in your face and chasing after you. Security chooses to listen, favor, & take the side of all the bad guys as opposed to the really good decent people. Security here doesn't want to investigate any complaints. They have a go away closed door attitude & won't care how they treat you. That includes the security supervisors. They don't & won't do anything to investigate serious complaints, instead the security manager will tell you to speak to BCLC. BCLC will tell you, "No, talk to the security at the casino. The security team here does not have dignity or respect. I do not recommend going here for drinks. It's a total sh*t show & security can't be trusted as they're all shifty & shady.

My friend and I visited for breakfast. I had just come out of the hospital and this was my first meal in 2 days. I couldn't eat my meal and Evangeline, the server made suggestions and took it back to the kitchen without question. Thank you for your kindness and excellent customer service Evangeline!! We were originally going to go to Atlas.Then saw signs they had a Buffett. We should have went to Atlas. The only good thing I had was the soup . My wife had said to me you may not like the menu, but I saw that they had beef stroganoff, so that’s why we paid to go on. Their ‘beef stroganoff ‘ actually resembled closer to diarrhoea. When I think beef stroganoff, I think, mushrooms, onions, in Pasta. No, this was just a pan of mush. And I never picked any fish for some reason the meat from the carving station kept giving me the taste of fish . But at least we had some entertainment because there was this worker there that yelled at two different coworkers, right in front of my wife and I.” you are not my boss, so quit treating me like you are.!” In very short time later, we got to watch her manager chew her out right at the cashier stand. Then she promptly grabbed her bag from the stand, and marched into the kitchen The dessert table (if you can call it that) what is the bulls? Pathetic attempt at a desert stand. Two different cakes, cinnamon, donut balls, and a tiny little plate fruit to choose from. There was an ice cream maker. Definitely not worth $33 per person

Great experience and service! The waitress we had was so lovely and attentive to us. The food was reasonably priced and filling. I got the wonton soup and my partner got the beef noodle. The broth was super good, aromatic, light and not overwhelming for both dishes. It was super cold and snowing when we went so perfect for soup.

We enjoyed our short trip to Vancouver thanks to the accommodations at Grand Villa. I'm not crazy about casino hotels but this one was better than I expected. We had a great view of the skyline from our room. The room wasn't big enough for all of our luggage, but it was nice and clean. We did have to walk from the parking garage across the street through the casino on several occasions. However, we had complimentary parking. We also had a chance to try food and drinks in the sports bar. We had good service and also had another drink at an adjacent bar in the casino. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

My wife and I have frequented this casino on numerous occasions. Their food service is poor to adequate and their casino provides an awful experience. While patrons must take responsibility for playing games of chance, the chance of winning at this casino appears to be decidedly low. And we have noticed, to our discomfort, that the casino refuses to run their air-conditioning in the height of summer which makes it quite intolerably hot in their establishment. My wife took the matter up with Guest Services and she was told by one of the staff that they would NOT turn on the AC and if my wife didn't like it then she could leave. That is what we have done and we will stay away. The Hard Rock Casino off United has air-conditioning and the chances of walking away from their casino with some wins is a lot better than the Grand Villain, as I call them.

Tonight the Mrs and I made a reservation for 6:00pm for supper. We decided on the bottle of Louis Martin Cab Sav…with Crab Cake and mussels/clams for appies. The better half had a twelve ounce fillet…yes she works out a lot…lol…and I chose the halibut…while we shared the brie mashed and a seafood tower. Un-friggen-believeable. The most amazing meal…with the most perfect service by Henry…perfectly timed attentiveness…and a pianist that played our classic requests. PLUS the creme brûlée was the “piece du resistance”…exquisitely creamy. All in all…an 11 out of 10. Top notch food accompanied with top notch service.
