“Just go! It's fantastic!!! I went somewhere else for lunch when I went, and I didn't like it, so I was feeling ripped off. I decided I needed something sweet to make up for it. I do not regret this decision. Best cakes ever! I got the tiramisu cheese cake and my friend got the Earl Grey Mandarin Orange cake. We were in heaven. I seriously am considering selling my soul to Sarah in exchange for free cake forever. Pls go check out her lil shop“
“FoggDukkers is a really nice example of Campbell River hospitality. I've visted a couple times and it's just such a nice spot. What's better than having a nice warm coffee, sitting around the fire in the back and looking out at the ocean and islands. The staff are also super friendly!“
“YUM! I love it when we find these family owned restaurants. The food was fabulous and the staff was very welcoming. I love it when you are surrounded by the regulars and everyone calls them by name. Definitely would come back here again if we ever return to Campbell River.“
“Great breakfast/ brunch/ lunch menu. Visiting from out of town and tried it on a whim as we didn’t want to go to a chain restaurant. We had the pork schnitzel and were pleasantly surprised to find it was actually a freshly made schnitzel, not a pre-made frozen one like you find almost everywhere. We also had the Bannock Benedict, a super cool twist on the classic version with awesome hollandaise. Really friendly staff, fast and fresh and delicious.“
“Wow, my friend and I were so impressed by the delicious, picture-perfect brunch we had at Whistlin' Waffle! We each had the combo breakfast (two free-range poached eggs, four pieces of bacon, hashbrowns and a waffle with added strawberries and cream :) ). All the food was high-quality and cooked absolutely perfectly, and the portions were generous and reasonably priced. The restaurant feels fresh, clean and comfortable and the service is friendly. The exterior of the strip mall just doesn't do the place justice and thus could be easily overlooked while driving down Dogwood. This is truly a Campbell River gem - give it a try and I am sure it will become a favourite destination!“
“VEGAN food made with care in an old school diner. Seriously amazing vegan options for breakfast lunch or dinner. Don’t judge this place from the outside because it’s super clean and nostalgic inside. Great service, great atmosphere and great food. Vegans have an awesome option when in Campbell River. Highly recommend. Arrive early as it fills up quickly and you will be waiting.Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“The ham,egg and cheese on the all dressed bagel is my go to. The bagels are unreal! this place is over looked in CR. you have to try their breakfast sandwiches if you haven’t; you deserve nice things! Also the best cheese cake I’ve ever had.“
“3 of us decided to skip pita pit today and went into the store for some lunch. We were then told that most of what we wanted to order wasn't available. No grilled cheese, no tuna, no godfather, etc etc. We finally gave up trying to order anything and left. There's so many bakeries in town to get bread. You're literally a sandwich shop. 60+ bucks in food orders walked out the door today. Likely won't bother trying again.“
“We had eggs Benny and the German pancake. The ladies will advertise when they get fresh fruit for ingredients. Still a bit early for me to assume I was ordering fresh berries for my pancake. The ladies were very friendly. Service was great.“
