First time and would definitely go again. The Owl's Nest is a warm feels like home bistro, nestled in the heart of Chemainus. You'll feel relaxed and a little taken back, with the country like decor...(making me think back to when being at my Nana's house as a kid)A relaxing/chill vibe the moment you open the door.The aroma of fresh brewed coffee, the smells of home cooked bakery and other dishes, will have you wanting to return again and again.

The Food was great❣️ I had a breakfast for a lunch and then a sandwich and a salad for another time I stopped in?coffee was great tasting?Friendly service very nice ? Hit my hunger and cravings at the same time❤️Totally worth checking it out?
Very cute little local bistro with the sweetest audience, staff and yummy treats. Loved the stencil on my oat chai latte and their scones. Would definitively revisit on our next trip!

The garden seating is wonderful. The coffee is just OK. The service ranges from poor (completely forgot my order) to wonderful (apologetic, friendly, service-oriented) -- ie uneven. Still, with such a nice garden-view area, it's worth trying lunch. But lower your service expectations.
