Refused to serve me unless I ate batter. Medical reasons dictate that I can only eat fish, not batter. I do not waste any fish, keep table clean, and tip generously. But to insist I have to eat batter...highly unacceptable. I like all you can eat fish, not all you can eat batter. I value my health and life and therefore will NEVER dine here.

Pros: Really, really good fish and chips. Very fresh. Very tasty. Awesome service!Cons: I've had better coleslaw and I wish the tartar was a little more towards the thicker chunkier style (personal preference)The pros definitely outweigh the slight little cons by a long shot.

We've eaten numerous occasions at Austin's Wide variety of meal combos.I have never experienced an oily taste to my previous food selections. As I've had at other fish and chips location . Tasty portions of fish served by a friendly staff

I ordered 1 piece of cod with a small Ceasar salad. The salad was crisp and fresh, but very simple with only romaine, a few sunflower seeds, a little bit of grated parmesan and dressing. The fish was nicely fried and wasn't too oily. Our server was pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant is very dated though, so there's not much of an atmosphere.
