Ordered three dishes;Pineapple Sweet & Sour Boneless PorkBoneless deep-fried pork in our classic sweet & sour sauce with pineapple chunks $17.95It was completely dry and chewy. I counted exactly 8 measly pieces of pineapple far from their pineapple chunks. Sweet and sour sauce barley any.Chow MeinOur classic chow mein! Thin egg noodles served with crisp, fresh bean sproutschoice of Plain, Chicken, Pork, Shrimp, Beef or Mushroom. Chicken $13.25Barely any chicken and it smelled and tasted like a Costco chicken.Pork Fried RiceOur classic fried rice served with egg, green onion, peas and rice. $13.25They must of run out of green onions.Overall food had no taste besides the salt. I think I found the green onions in my Chow MeinFrom their webpage “Experience Chinese cuisine done right”. When you get it right let me know, until then I will not be back.

I had this food once before and it was good. Tried it again and it was awful. The ginger beef was awful, extremely thin slices, very fried so very crunchy a bit chewy. Beef chow main and chicken chow main was bland. Sweet and sour pork just wasn’t the usual taste or texture. Won’t go back.

Stepped into Capital Restaurant and was greeted by the most appetizing aroma - their food is like a love letter to flavor! The menu offers a smorgasbord of choices, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming.

Well I thought I'd give it another shot, this is the third time I've been there and once again it was a nightmare, the wonton soup was very good actually but I ordered the chow mein, prawn, sweet and sour pork combo, prawns were not hot but good enough, chow mein was hot, sweet and sour pork was cold to the touch which I thought was very odd so I asked the older lady what had happened, she said the dishes are pre-made,they pour the sweet and sour sauce on top of the pre-made cold deep fried pork,I sent it back and told her I'm sorry but I'm afraid I cannot eat cold pork,my dinner came back to the table again cold, not luke warm but cold, they did absolutely nothing to it,I sent it back and said I was done with trying again,my friends dish the chow fun was hot and very good, when I went to pay I said to the older lady its too bad the pork was cold and its dangerous to serve pork at that temperature and she made excuses that the sauce heats it up,she was dismissive and irritated, the middle of the pork was cold, terrible standards,I am nota complainer,I cringe when i have to send something back,if it was even warmish i gaurantee I would've tried to eat it,don't risk getting sick there,go anywhere else, they don't care, they've given up, bamboo palace in abbotsford is decent and i sure miss moonlilly, they put these guys to shame,? cheers

We ordered the capital chow mein, yang chow fried rice, wonton, and dry garlic pork! ? if you are looking for awesome Western style Chinese food in Chilliwack, I'd give my money to these guys! Great take out! The place was darn near full when I picked up the order! Still got good, hot food in less than 20 mins!

We ordered ginger beef. It looked like pork rinds. It was hard and chewy. We were unable to detect any beef or ginger. Owner refused to take it off the bill. I have always had great food and lovely service here. I came with my friends who only came because I highly recommended Capital. We will not trust Capitol again.

Honestly never understood all the hype around this place. must of been good 20 years ago, these days it's very average western Chinese food. Eating in is definetly better don't waste your time on takeout!
