This place has TERRIBLE customer service. Now I'm not sure about the food, but the workers there are ABSOLUTELY rude and disrespectful towards their custumers. They won't listen to you and won't provide you things such as plates when you ask them. You might not believe this but while we were eating, a delivery person was waiting for the food to deliver when a worker gives him the food and treats him very poorly. This is not how stores should treat people, what I saw today disappointed me and I recommend not spending your money on people who won't use it as a good deed.Disappointing and disrespectful, I prefer not spending money on them ??????

Went to order 2 drinks for take out, took 5 mins to be acknowledged even though 2 workers were around. Ordered and paid, then waiting for 10 mins clearly able to see that no one was making drinks. Asked the lady about my drinks, it was forgotten. She made them and handed to me without saying anything.Drinks did not taste that good either. All powder flavouring, no real fruit incorporated.

Order online as of 10% discount. Ask my daughter to go pick up, gave her cash just in case extra charge if use credit card. She end up pay credit card as she confirmed no extra charge, but staff DID NOT tell her if pay card no 10% off. End up no discount for that online order (so mad!!) Also the food was no good, chicken steak so so so dry and hard to bite, soup no flavour. Won’t order again there. Disappointed.

I always go here and eat, usually getting the honeydew milk tea and some food, always had a good time not really minding the awkward atmosphere between the workers and customers, but today! As I dine, I ordered takoyaki, deep fried wonton and a milk tea. I paid for it on instant. I get that there’s a lot of people but they already gave the orders of other people behind me but mine, it was so slow! Then they gave me the food, I almost choke because the drink wasn’t even served or even called! The whole time, I watched people orders and they absolutely got theirs but I didn’t got mine! I let that issue of service pass but then as soon as I’m done eating. I was so full. And here’s the thing, before I could even breathe and ready myself to go, the lady came to me and took the dishes and awkwardly asked me if I payed the food (no smiles! No soft tone or anything!) I didn’t quite heard her the first time so I ask again and she rudely said that I should pay for what I ate and even stood at the exit. I don’t know if I’ll be going back, it sucks that I like the food.

We ordered the satay chicken nuggets which was good, but the noodles and the chicken rice wasn't good at all. The noodles were lukewarm and the chicken rice was cold. Though there were only 4 tables when we dined there, they struggled with serving, they were more focused on takeout orders I noticed. The waitress/cashier was rude, I had better service with vending machines to be honest.

Taste of Hong Kong. I like to come here once in a while, a favourite of mine. Comforting customizable soup noodles. Waffle cake is not as tasty as the ones I've had in Hong Kong but it's not bad (can be improved by adding more sauce, peanut butter, condensed milk etc. inside). Staff speaks Cantonese. They close their dining room after ~8pm but you can still order for takeout (which I did and took home to eat); they pack the soup separately so it won't get soggy. There's also a few tables outside that you can eat on instead.
The metrotown location: I asked for the noodles to be undercooked (al dente) but they didn't follow through on it.

I really enjoy the noodle soup and egg waffle I normally order. But they shouldn’t bother to add tips to the machine. My table had crumbs on it and nobody even offered me glass of water.

Food was so so. Hainan rice was lacking flavor. I was appalled by the cashier. We spent $32 and paid when we ordered. I gave her $40 and I said I'll give you $2 cos I want $10 bill back. After I gave her $2, she said and tip? I was abit surprised. I said sure, and gave some tip. After we got to our table , we looked at how she treated other customers. A.white customer also paid cash, she didn't ask for tip. Maybe cos we are chinese. Then I just remembered I haven't got my $10 back. I went to the cashier and asked. She didn't seem surprised, just said ok, I'll get to you. She had some customer. So apparently she remembered. Then she brought the money to us. Didn't even apologize. Just wow.

Every time I've come here, it is never too busy and I have always gotten a table right upon entry. The food here is spectacular and if you've never tried their laksa, YOU ARE MISSING OUTTT!!! I love their takoyaki and bubble waffles too!! I would definitely recommend this place!!
