The chicken here is gluten free and the batter is light and crispy while the meat is tender and juicy! I love the pickles thay come with the order. It's a great compliment to the chicken. I hope everyone gets a chance to try this!I hope your business is doing okay. I'm sorry about the car crashing into your store. Their soy-garlic chicken is so good, that nowhere else compares. Their prices are fair, their service is lovely, and you can tell how much care they put in to the quality of their food. This might sound like a lot of praise for a meal, but they deserve it - I've never been disappointed when I order from JTL.

I eat a lot of fried chicken and have tried places in many countries and this place is the best I’ve ever tried. Sauce options are all great, chicken is crispy and even great cold the next day. Fries are off the chain too. The thing that is most impressive about this place is how consistent it is, I’ve eaten here regularly for around 2 years now and it has never disappointed.

Korean fried chicken is superior to the other fried chicken that begins with a K. Of the local take out fried chicken haunts in Coquitlam, this is my favorite.The whole family loves this chicken, it's super crispy yet juicy and the sauces are so tasty.The maple honey and soy garlic flavors are not spicy at all and our kids love it.Definitely worth a try, but be warned you might just fall in love

The chicken here is awesome. They have gluten free options and they use a separate fryer for these, making them safe for those with celiac disease. Staff was friendly and happy to help with any questions on the menu. :)

Very yum korean fried chicken joint. Place is quite small, so i'd opt out for take out. Their chicken is so crispy, I enjoyed them until the next day. Their yangnyum (sweet and spicy) chicken was different than what i'm used to, but still good. It's on the sweet side and less spicy, less tangy.I would definitely come back to try other flavors.

The best place for fried chicken and anything deep fried in rice flour! Everything tastes so fresh and so crispy. The sauces are made in-house and they are equally crafted with care - the coleslaw dressing, the honey mustard, the chili mayo, and now the Hot Soy Garlic?! I'm in sauce heaven... And if you order takeout, it's so easy to reheat in the oven the next day for some great tasting leftovers. I highly endorse this place!

I had the GF cripsy chicken with coleslaw, honey mustard dipping sauce and chili mayo dipping sauce and it was all so delicious! Crispy crunchy with a bit of spice ❤ . I also have a gluten intolerance so I extra appreciated that I could have fried chicken here ❤❤ . Wish they had another store in Vancouver!

Oh my gosh. Had the sweet and spicy and Honey. Every single bite was a crispy burst of flavor. Sticky rice and daikon on the side was perfect. My new favorite place for take out.

This is one of the two GF fried chicken places I know of in the GVRD. We had to head in to the Coquitlam Ikea this evening and thought this would be the perfect time to check it out. It's a tiny shop and there is currently no option to dine-in. Shame, since we live a 40 min drive away and would've liked to have the chicken fresh and hot. The cashier was friendly, quick and attentive. The order took 30 min - looks like they're being kept quite busy, especially on a Friday night! Wish I knew it would take that long beforehand - would've ordered over the phone first. The order was ready in 28 min, so their time was very accurate! Brought it home and heated it up in the oven again - might have made it a bit dryer. The leg pieces were very juicy and crispy on the outside, but the breast pieces were dry. The batter was not at all greasy, which is great. I could only have the GF flavours so we got the original and herb parmesan garlic. They have 9 flavours in total, would've been amazing if I could had the others. Perhaps the store can consider making sauces using GF soy sauce instead? Bet that would be popular! We liked the very mild spiciness of the chicken, but would rather have a hotter option. The order also came with an additional side of homemade Korean pickled radish, which was sweet and crunchy. We couldn't finish the one large bone-in order between the two of us, so we left 4 pieces as leftovers for another day. I'd definitely visit again in the future if we're in the area!
