Even though the place is quite small, the food and service were great. The server frequently asked us if we want more miso, rice or cabbage as you can ask for more with no additional cost. A little bit pricey but worth it for what you get.You can save your spot ahead of time and see how many groups or people are ahead of you. Lots of parking space in the area. Will come back again!

Fancy place for Japanese deep friend pork!We are a party of 4 and ordered the premium loin set, chicken thigh set, Zenbu set and also extra tofu, the food is amazing.We also wanted to try their oyster but sadly they were out.Servers are professional and attentive. Cabbage and rice are unlimited, we got asked a few times whether we needed more but we were way too full for more.The only downside would be the underground parking, it is quite narrow and hard when there are cars coming both in and out.

Food was great however I did not appreciate that note saying next time they will charge me for the cabbage. My family always eat at this restaurant and we know it's a free refill on rice and cabbage (salad). The meal is $27! Putting notes like that on the receipt is just not very professional. Also the package didn't come with cutlery so I have to eat it with hands. Overall, not very happy with the server.

Very beautiful and clean restaurant interior! Very polite and quiet workers here, ambiance was a bit too quiet..? Maybe could’ve used difference background music. No physical menu was given, there was a QR code on the table for us to scan and see the menu. We ordered the Rosu Katsu and Rosu Curry. Both were yummy:) Meat was thick and not too chewy, miso soup was SO delicious, salad dressing had a nutty(peanut) flavour. Overall good experience at Saku!

If you're craving for great quality tonkatsu with variety, SAKU is the place to go. Their food is not greasy; no old oil/reused oil taste or rancid taste. You get rice and salad refills too. The best is the sesame salad dressing!Customer service is great and you can either stay inside or enjoy their patio during the warm season.Parking: There's available paid parking by the next door lot by Pizza Factory, or free side street parking on Farrow Street. Not sure if you can park at the lot across by Burquitlam Station.

Friendly service and lovely interior decor. Always a big fan of Saku and their food did not disappoint. There is a parking lot around back which could be a little hard to find. We like the Zenbu Katsu set with the additional rice, soup, and salad combo. Also tried the Pumpkin Croquette.

I’ve had Saku so many times in different branches, but this one is my favorite branch now. It was not too crowded and everything was very enjoyable.Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Saku’s katsu has been always pretty good, however this branch’s rice was a bit different. It was more like authentic sticky rice.I personally don’t like long grain or when cooked rice is a bit dry. And when I went to other branches, I didn’t really get impressed by the rice.But here’s rice was definitely different than others. Me and my partner both really liked it.Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I think overall service was also pretty good. Not overwhelming service and I was able to enjoy my meal with my partner in nice quiet environment.Cleaness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Im not too sure if it’s clean because it’s new branch compare to others or not, but it was really clean / also the washroom was very clean!Overall it was really good experience! I highly recommend to visit here and try their katsu!!

The curry is just warm and looked like good curry but doesn't taste anything like curry. Something is off here...
