Kimberly took my order wrong, I repeated the order, she said okay. When I picked it up I asked the person working is this the correct roll as the receipt says another kind and the worker goes yes. I reconfirmed the name of the roll I needed- he once again said yes its correct. It wasn't correct and this order was being delivered to someone. Definitely won't order here again which is sad as I only used to order sushi from here in coquitlam.

They put to much rice vinegar in their sushi rice which makes the rolls a little too sour. Service was slow even though I was the only person there. Would recommend togo if you are inside the mall.

So the restaurant is called” sashimi sushi…” and the sashimi was bad, I’m not over exaggerating either, the California rolls were mid, the beef teriyaki just tasted bad. Portion size was small, $18 for a bento that is that

My first visit was not positive, unfortunately. I made eye contact with the staff member as I walked in, without greeting me they walked to the back. I stood there for about 2 minutes then I rang the bell. Someone walked up and asked for my order. I ordered a veggie sunomono and a yam roll after taking my payment they told me to return in 20 minutes.Edit to add- the food is actually quite tasty so I am adding a star.

Place is neat and spacious. Good food quality, fresh ingredients, clean and decent presentation. Fast, efficient and friendly service. Reasonable price. One of my favourite places to go for Japanese food.

The food isn't fresh, and tastes old. I had an unpleasant experience here with the food. But the staff are kind and helpful.

Love the salmon don at that place where gives you a very thick cut sashimi and so satisfying.

The oyako don was fried and tiny. The tonkatsu ramen had 1 sliver of pork.

The food here is just not good, the overall flavours, sauce, how it's prepared, it's lacking quality. And on top of that, my 3 year old son had two days of diarrhea after drinking their miso soup... Fun times. Only came here for the convenience of being inside the mall during lunch but won't be going back again.

Probably the best in terms of mall sushi. Delicious and reasonably priced. friendly owners. Only complaint is that you have to wait a bit for your food, but its only one guy making it so its ok.

Inside coquitlam centre mall is this sushi place that has these bento like lunch combos that range from Japanese to Korean. It's pretty much right next to bubble waffle cafe as well. I got the chicken tonkatsu bento and I like the variety they put inside the bento box with the Mandu dumpling and California roll and salad. There is lots of meat and rice so it's quite a filling box and it comes with miso soup.
