This place has been one of my best food experiences. I've tried many dishes and pastries here multiple times and always enjoyed them. The foods have good price and excellent quality. Whenever I come here with my Persian and non-Persian friends, we all have a great time.

I ordered the koobideh from the attached restaurant. Had to wait there for several minutes, no service. Finally guy who I assume is the owner due to the arrogance came to the cashier. He was rude and sarcastic. Asked me for my name and number. When I asked why they need personal information for dine in service, he rudely remarked, “otherwise how can we call you when food is ready?”, but the thing is that they use electronic beeper system which buzzes when food is done. So maybe they are collecting info to sell to scammers. The food was just average, a lot of rice, onion, tomato and 2 kebabs for $13+ with tax. I had to heavily salt the food for some flavour. It’s NOT the best Persian food in tricities for sure. The bakery section is usually busy, but the items don’t look that appetizing. I wouldn’t come here again because of the attitude, service and quality is lacking.

meh, yepp, the food is just meh, maybe just lower the number of items on your menu to 5 or 7 so you could focus on quality. The days of 99 items on a menu are over. Wish you good luck. Thanks.

This was a custom cake that I ordered and was made by Shahla in Bakery. She did an amazing job! The cake had a banana and walnut filling which tasted delicious. It was reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend for others to try!
The restaurant food is take away but the price of the food is the same as other Persian restaurant and for drink price you paid half of the meals price ! Yesterday we paid for 5 meals 3 chicken burgers and 2soltani and 5 drink 95$!That’s not take a way price !At the same time one lady just told about the high the price and the owner behaved very unprofessional and broke her heart sadly

What a delightful find in the center of Coquitlam. A family run grocery store and cafe with a butcher preparing Halal meats. We bought the most fresh pastries and ate them with a delicious cup of coffee in the cafe. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. We will be back soon.

Urban Gate is honestly amazing. They have premade Ghormeh Sabzi and Ash and other delicious foods aswell as all kinds of marinated chicken flavors and fresh meat and burgers. And all of them are HALAL which is awesome! They recently opened their cafe and restaurant and it has such good vibes.??✨️
