Had lunch at VINA in Coquitlam Centre today, don’t ever have to go back. The Pho soup was absolutely tasteless, had some mystery meat, was supposed to be beef(small for $13.00). The salad roll was good as was the peanut sauce.

Service was good. Pho was terrible! The broth had zero flavor (broth is what makes or breaks it). The meat was rubbery and grey. I was brought out a plate of hot limp bean sprouts to add to soup and told that was normal. I asked the waiter for fresh ones and received phlacid bean sprouts that were far from fresh. Should also mention I was not given basil or lime but instead a couple old lemon slices.Over priced for far below average food. Spring rolls were good...but should not cost 6 bucks each!I always hesitate to leave bad reviews but in this case I believe fellow diners should be aware.

Dip veritable roll was so dried that even hard to bite and swallow . It tasked like re-fried leftovers. Disappointed, as it was better before.

Amazing Lemongrass chicken and the lady that works here all alone works so hard even when a bunch of people line up she gets all there orders going at once. I’ll say the cleanliness could be better but in some situations thats when you know the food is good and I would say that applies here. Portions are quite large as well!

The steam crepe is a total mess. No flavor. All the ingredients fell out. Quality went downhill over the years. Definitely my last time ordering from there.

I ate at this place today in Coquitlam Centre. I ordered Beef stew. I was nervous when the lady took my takeout container of rice to the back. Waited for about 5 min. She came back with my food. It was so dry with no sauce. I thought it must have been old food they microwaved. I asked for some sauce as it should gave cause it is stew..they said yes sauce is there. Playing like they didn't u derstand my question. When I tried it is was right. Dry, disgusting and tastes old..I'm sure it is a few days old. It was microwaved. The potatoes were like the desert..no sauce..disgusting g. For almost $15, I wouldn't recommend this place, not if you want good, fresh food. I will never go there again.

I have been coming to this Vina for years for specifically their shrimp salad rolls. They taste phenomenal! Although, they used to be $3.99 and now they are around $5.55. Pretty much $6 for 1 salad roll!! :( !! (and i know it wasn’t because of minimum wage going up because of the timing that the prices changed) I went there for the good food for good prices and would constantly tip until it got too expensive. Some of the food is good but some, not so much. For example, the Pho is not worth the money because it tastes just ok and there are many pho restaurants around with similar pricing that taste amazing! The other day, i saw an incident happen. The main lady who has been working there for years, she was yelling at the other co worker at the top of her lungs. Idk if she’s the manager or whoever, but whatever she was yelling about could have easily been solved with a conversation, and that’s no way to treat anyone. I couldn’t understand what their argument was about because i didn’t understand their language but the way she was yelling at her was unacceptable. The main lady is also very unfriendly and very business oriented. I’ve had other workers be kind but whenever i order from the main lady she seems very cranky and rude. If she is the manager, I definitely think that she should be replaced by one of the other amazing workers there that give good customer service. I went from being a regular, to going there once in a while because over the years they have been going downhill. It’s also an inconvenience when the tap hasn’t been working for the past 5 years with their machine, if i wanna buy food i need to bring my wallet because they don’t have apple pay or a tap of any kind.
