The food is ok, bibimbap is definitely below average. However the service was appalling. Our server rushed us to make our order just within a minute after handing us the menu, and at around 45mins into dining she wanted us to be done with the food, get the bill and go - we were clearly still working on the food and did not want it to go to waste.I have never had such a paranoid dining experience in Metro Vancouver.

Galbitang is okayOh my gosh, I’ve never had such sweet beef stew before.Don’t you think you should prepare salt and pepper separately for seolleongtang?

The dishes arrived piping hot, opt for the stone rice – its hot stone bowl yields a satisfyingly crispy layer at the bottom. While the restaurant's interior is pretty small in size, the quick turnaround and efficient service make for a seamless dining experience. They also renovated recently so it looks more clean and fresh. In my opinion, it stands out as one of the better Korean restaurants for soups. Don't miss the complimentary whole kimchi (it’s amazing).

I went to eat beefy hangover soup, but I ended up eating cabbage soup without any beef. I was going to eat cabbage soybean paste soup, but I boiled it at home. You charge 17.50 for that... Please do business with a conscience.

The food is really good. Plates come to the table very hot. Tasty and the prices are reasonable. The service average. The atmosphere is so, so. I recommend this place for a quick bite alone or with someone you know well. This isn't a place for romance.

My family have been coming here for more than 20 years it was my first time coming back here after so many years. It was a childhood go to restaurant as a Korean for ages. The taste never changes and it's always good. The service is always superb and the food always tastes the same so as Korean I approve.

"You HAVE TO share the table with others."Yes, "Have to" is the word the server used.I can’t believe this have happened. This is what happened:Thursday, 7 PM, raining. After work, I brought my family to this Korean restaurant. That's the nightmare began.A server (who only spoke numbers in English) served us and struggled to place our order.I don’t mind her English; that wasn't my point. After 10 min, the server aggressively demanded that we have to share our table with a stranger. (There are still few tables but need to clean). This was our family dinner, and having a stranger facing me makes me felt really uncomfortably. I refused but the server insisted sternly, "you HAVE TO share with the stranger."I'm unsure if this is a tradition in Korean restaurants, but it didn't feel right to me.I don’t have other option, we left the restaurant. This wasn't my first time here. What happened? Can anyone tell me what's going on at this restaurant?

My family's favorite spot for Korean soup on the west coast - hard for me to comment on the quality of service or value for the price, seems YMMV, however, if you're Korean or with someone who is, you're probably gonna be fine. Interior space and service is pretty standard for a small KR restaurant.Their bone soups (Seollongtang and Galbitang), Ggamjatang, and everything else we've tried there is as almost any spot I've had, both in Korea and in the States - it's legit stuff, so if authentic is what you're looking for, this is a great spot for it. Although you don't get a lot of banchan, their kimchi, particularly the kkaktugi (radish kimchi) is solid. At $14.50, the Seollongtang (my personal favorite Korean soup in general) is a great deal; if you're unused to this particular soup, you may need to add salt to taste at the table, as is traditional. Would come again!
