Yoko In Austin Heights is awesome ?. Been ordering take out for years, but decided to dine in today. The food has always been reliable, fresh and good variety of offerings. One thing that stood out to us on this visit was this hedgehog ? dessert. It was a chocolate ? covered chocolate gelato ice cream ?, it was so good. I highly suggest you try it out. We ordered the chicken cutlet and the teriyaki beef roll. We normally or the Maki, oshi and negiri which is good but this time we wanted to try other options and we were pleasantly surprised. The chicken cutlet was nice and crispy dark chicken ? meat and when he dipped it into the sauce that came with it was tasty. I left happy content and full...
First time at Yoko, this is one of the best tasting sushi I have had in Vancouver area, the restaurant is very clean and the staff was very accommodating.Size of sushi rolls were just perfect.
I managed to receive a Miso ramen without an ajitsuke tamago, which is the best part of ramen. Will not be returning.I heard Ryan Reynolds was caught shoplifting from the neighboring pharmacy as well.So be safe everyone

Really great service and kind people. The food isn’t bad, sometimes the rice is a bit mushy. But overall is good. I like going here because of the staff!
We ordered the sushi tray for take out. When we got home, I noticed the rice was very mushy and soggy looking and then I noticed the seaweed was all wet, slimmy sticky and disgusting I had to throw the entire tray out such a waste of money down the drain?Staff here are very kind, and was apologetic instead of getting defensive and agreed that the rice was soggy. Didn’t get a refund.

The last time I wrote a restaurant review it was straight-across the board five stars... not THIS one.Went into Yoko Sushi on impulse for a quick snack -- a bowl of agedashi tofu and one piece of tomago (egg) nigiri. Disappointing that they were unaware that agedashi tofu dish is customarily served with chopped green onions and grated ginger root and they did not have fresh ginger (for grating) in the kitchen.Even worse -- I left my nigiri half eaten (something I have never done once in 40 years eating sushi) and when I told them that either the rice or the egg was definitely "off" I was greeted with a puzzled indifference (even though I was the only customer in the place and had their full attention). If I had to describe this restaurant in a single word it would be "clueless."

Gast friendly service but the rolls seem to be getting smaller. A sign of the times i guess. Overall a nice place. Doesn't disappoint.
