A lovely bakery / cafe with delicious baked goods and rotating food options! A little hard to get a seat sometimes but that just speaks to the quality of what they offer. Definitely grab a cinnamon bun.

I’ve only been here for a coffee and a cinnamon bun, but they were both quite good. some of the better cinnamon buns in town. Service was very good. The place does lack some atmosphere, but it’s a nice quiet place to have a coffee and a bite to eat. Very limited seating area.

At first I loved supporting this business for it's coffee and food. After witnessing how the owner treats his staff, I am not comfortable spending my money to support them. I have visited this coffee shop upwards of a dozen times. I will no longer be supporting this business is due the the way the owner speaks to his staff. I have had multiple visits to this establishment, and I have observed staff be spoken to in a tone that is belittling. The staff in these interactions are made to feel stupid in front of customers, and are visibly uncomfortable during the interaction. I feel for the people who experience that treatment in their place of work. I have shared this feedback with friends and family, and I do not encourage people to visit due to the behaviours of the owner. I hope the he can grow from this feedback and choose to be kind to his staff, which is the least he could do.

Use to love their cinnamon buns. When we come over from Vancouver we have to get them. Because they’re not open on the weekend, I asked my mother in law to pick up eight for us. I was so disappointed……definitely not as decadent as before. Seems a bit too bready now and the filling isn’t as gooey or tasty. Please go back to your original recipe…..Update - Thanks to the owner for replying. My husband and I have had the cinnamon bun after it was a day old…..this was a few years ago…..and it still tasted great. We both agree it’s not like it use to be.

Good food, really good cinnamon buns (delish dough) I feel like they used to have more frosting and now quite skimpy but still a yummy yummy cinnamon bun. The sandwhiches I have had have always been amazing. I find the owner can be quite brusk and unfriendly (offered to help deliver once and set up chairs once and both times he quite snapped at me) but the lemonaide is AWESOME.(edit since owners reply) I can't say I am at all surprised his reply was unfriendly. This was a 4 star review (dropped now to 2) with a ton of compliments, no "hey thanks for the comment, so glad you love our food (and lemonaide) just sooo defensive. Hey, if you don't want me to take water out to a customer, there is a nice way to say it, (gosh, thanks so much for offering, but we have to do it ourselves) And, we arrived before 9, waited till about 5 past to approach the door, you snarked at me you weren't ready, I offered to help you take the chairs out you were setting up outside and was snarked at again. Clearly, I wont be back. Your manner is extremely off-putting to someone who has only ever tried to be kind)
